General Query - Employment VISA

A friend of mine has applied for renewal and it is in due process and infact it has taken more than 6 months.

Meanwhile, she has started to work.

Is he allowed to work while the application is in renewal?

What visa exactly has the friend applied for? What visa did friend have before this application?

Before - Residents pemit on the basis of British Minor

Did your friend apply for FLR (FP) parent route?

If so and applied before previous visa expired, work is permitted as far as I am aware.

Yes it is through parent route.

Yes it was applied before the VISA expired.

So what is the issue then?
