Help with Visa4UK application form - for wife

Dear all

My wife is an Indian citizen and I am a UK citizen. We are currently completing the settlement visa application form using Visa4UK site.

There are problems we are having.

1. In the 'Issuing Authority' section of Passport and Travel Information, there are limited characters. I need to enter 'Regional Passport Office, Mumbai' but I am unable to do this because the character limit cuts me off after the word Passport.
2. In the 'How long do you intend to stay in the UK' section, what should we write? Obviously she is my wife so she wants to stay as long as possible, but how do we quantify this?

Any help would be really appreciated.

1. You can just write 'Mumbai, India' or 'India Government'

2. You can write 'indefinitely' or 'long term'

She is doing her online application with the Visa4UK website.

However, in addition to her online application, does she need to fill out the VAF4A paper application and do I need to fill out the Appendix 2 financial requirement form?
And if so, are these forms taken to the VFS application centre on the interview day?

You need to fill VAF4A form ONLINE and print it n take it to VFS centre along with manually filled Appendix 2 form (which is mandatory too).
