Post by iakhan82 » Sat May 16, 2015 12:10 pm

I would like to raise following pre submit application enquiries which are as follows :

My wife is based in Pakistan and recently she has obtained 3.5 band in IELTS examination , Please comment would it be sufficient in order to meet home office criteria.
Subsequently, I recently got promotion at my work place as a salaried employee , since February 2015 I am on earning of £19000 however prior than that I was on only 18000 , Please comment if we can lodge visa application straightway or alternatively I have to wait until July 2015.
In order to meet the deficit of my salary as above, I have got proof of earnings of my rental income which is 10,000 per year however these fund are earned from the same property where I reside and my spouse will be resided. Please comment if we take this under consideration or not ?

Therefore, please confirm if I am meeting the criteria of home office to lodge an application or not on the basis of above information.

New changes for Pakistan applicants from 6 july 2015

Post by iakhan82 » Sat Jul 04, 2015 9:14 pm

Can someone please advise, as the new rules from UKVI states that passport will be submitted at Visa centre in Pakistan and all supporting documents will be submitted in Sheffield, UK. Does it mean the hard copy of the application form will be submitted in UK or in Pakistan ??

P60 Requirment for Spouse Visa ....

Post by iakhan82 » Fri Jul 10, 2015 3:12 pm

Can someone please shade some light on this issue, as a matter of urgency. I am in the process of applying spouse visa for my wife from Pakistan on 1 Aug 2015.
I am slightly confused regarding the financial requirement under category A.
Following below applies on my situation:
I have been with the same employer for last 3 years on 18000 per anum, however I recently got promoted in February 2015 on 19000. Therefore I will be able to show my last 6 salary slips on the basis of 19000 as a salaried employee together with my contract and letter.
My main concern relates to P60 as it was issued in April showing my total earnings of 18000. Will it make any impact on my financial requirement If I submit it to them or should I not to submit it? Because of on the basis of my P60 incoming requirement will not be met .
I look forward to hearing from

Just get a letter from employer confirming that you got promoted and your earnings have gone up from February. Your last P60 should be over £18,000 so you are not off the mark much anyway.

Please advise in the light of your experience.

You need to be earning more than £18,600 for at least 6 months before you apply. I would definitely submit the P60. Get a letter from employer confirming your position, pay, how long you have been employed for and details of promotion, also that the payslips are genuine, a new employment contract if necessary. This information together with your bank statements should be sufficient proof, besides they can check with HMRC.

Mortgage statement requirement for Spouse Visa

Post by iakhan82 » Tue Jul 21, 2015 6:52 pm

Can some shed some light on the matter below:

I am in the process of applying my spouse VISA from Pakistan , at present I am on 19K however the serious issue is that my mortgage repayment is quiet high which is £1045 in comparison of my monthly net income after tax £1250. Could you please advise in that case should I provide my mortgage statement to UKVI or not ?.

I am also enclosing Deed copy, home insurance policy, House inspection report by Estate agent, utility bill (Gas & Electricity) and Council Tax bill .

All they care about is that you meet the required salary threshold
they dont care how much you earn salary after tax. They look at gross
if they put a salary threshold, according to them, its enough to support your spouse.
I wouldnt worry BUT THIS IS JUST MY OPINION

not interest to this topic but cant believe your mortgage monthly repayment is £1045 when you earn only 19K a year? the bank usually dont lend money as they do affordability check.

iakhan82, please keep your queries regarding one application under a "single" topic.

Please advise as below :

I have submitted my online application on 1 August 2015.
Bio metrics was on 3rd August 2015.
Documents sent to Sheffield on 4 August 2015 and they received on 5 august 2015 as per Royal mail.

My query is that everyone on this forum seems receiving acknowledgment email straightaway and themselves they are tracking their application status online. however, in my case no acknowledgment email has been received neither I can track my application online through my GWF number.

Can some please advise that what's a proper link for application from pakistan in order to track and how soon I should receive an acknowledgement email from them.

Your quick response will be highly appreciated.
