ILR (set m)

Post by kahn786 » Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:03 am

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to know how soon i can apply for ILR set m? here is the information below

Spouse Visa Granted- july 2013
Arrived in UK- July 2013
FLR M Granted- March 2016
ILR set m due to expire- Oct 2018

Will it be possible to apply 28 days before 5 Years are completed or apply in July once 5 years are completed.
Thanks

As far as i'm aware your clock resets to 0 when you were flrm granted. So it would be in 2021. Why did you apply for flrm?

Clock is not reset, if holder was on a spouse visa under Appendix FM. Possible to apply for SET(M) no sooner than 28 days before the completion of qualifying period (5th anniversary of initial entry).

I believe you mean that FLR(M) is due to expire in Oct 2018, not ILR.
(Casa, not CR001)

hi Guys yes im sorry FLR M set to expire in oct 2018 so i will apply for ILR M in 2018 so if arrived in UK on 27 July 2013 im eliglble to apply just after 28 July 2018 but before actual Visa expires on oct 2018?
Could i apply for ILR set m 28 days before 27 july 2018 or do i have to wait until 5 years been completed in UK?
thanks and sorry for the confusion
