Hi Guys,

Good news from my side is that my wife had received visa on Wednesday.
I was very worried about my visa outcome as :-

1. I have changed my job during my wife's visa was in process.I read on this forum that it might cause an issue but it didn't.

2.I have only supplied three emails for 'subsisting marriage' proof and no
call records.

3. Supplied three months bank statement on bank's letterhead but rest of them were internet copies stamped by bank.

4.Only marriage pics. No before/after marriage pics.

5.Only degree taught in english and no other english test certificates.No NARIC certificate.

So very less documents but eventually good result.

Thanks for your support during this long wait and hope all the best for all of you.

hi ravikid many many congrates!!!! can u tell me wot documents did u submitted for accomodation? n how much balance u showed?..n any other documents pelase let me knw ..thank you

I submitted the following docs:-

1.my house registry.
2.mortgage docs.
3.council tax bills for two years.

if you are renting,rent agreement and council tax bill will be sufficient.

4.my salary slips (6 months)
5.p45 form.
6.bank statements for 6 mnths.
7.letter from my company confirming salary plus benefits
8.some emails exchanged and a sample chat from gtalk.
9.marriage pics covering whole marriage.
10.wedding cards from both sides.
11.receipts of engagement and marriage ceremony hotel bookings.
12.marriage certificate.
13.train ticket of travelling after marrige to vfs,delhi.
14.my tickets from london to amritsar(marriage/engagement)
15.copies of my whole passport pages (notorised).

Hi wanted to ask anyone that has had their spouse settlement refusal overturned before they had the appeal hearing? I've seen someone was called for an interview & another applicant had just recieved a letter saying the refusal was overturned.
if you can give any experience in this i'd really appreciate it

my papa has to wait for his appeal hearing and its making us all suffer emotionally, financially, everything!!

Just want to confirm that I'm submitting communication I.e phone bills facebook threads and emails for Jan to Mar 2012, as I got married on 08 april 2012. Gonna apply tommorow 8 may 2012 at VFS jalandhar. Is that sufficient as communication proof.

first off did u say ita an arranged marriage in the form? if u said its arranged then they dont expect proof of communication before the wedding but if your providing it only makes ur case stronger.
secondly the communication proof between the wedding and the time of submission of visa app is more important, so make u sure u submit recird of phone calls and emails exchanged between 8th april -8th May.

Its not a arranged marriage .. We were together till 20april..enclosed air tickets and pictures the time we spent together. After that only FB messages are there and 3 to 4 emails.. Phone bill of my wife (in uk) is available .. Mine is pending .. Is that okay.. Pls help

just provide as much proof of communication as possible for you; see what u have out of the following;

phon call records
emails, i'd suggest screenshot of emails box as well as few detailed emails
skype logs
FB interaction, if u guys have it on ur reall names
pictures, after and before wedding and of the wedding also
E-cards, greeting cards
receipts of any money transfer
receipts of any gifts exchanged

make sure the phone numbers that are shown in ur phone records are the same numbers u put in ur application as ur contact details..i'll let u knw ifi think of anything els:)

hey i am good, no acknowlegdement letter for me as well.
someone from the PK thread sent their appeal on 7th Feb and recieved the letter on 3rd march, i am note sure wots going on really:s
but i'll be calling the AIT next week to find out whats gouing on.
at the moment the automated message is that they are dealing with appeals sent in end of march.
why dont u call them up n ask??

I know its getting difficult day by day.

But i gave a surprise to my wife by landing at her doorsteps unannounced in India 2mths after marriage, 1month after she applied for visa. It was just week trip though.......

Hopefully we will get through atleast by next bank holiday (But i am working during that weekend)

will keep you updated, Hopefully this Friday things should move and we both will have updates
