Date of Application in VFS Center: 18-May-2015PariJ wrote:Date of Application in VFS Center: 18-May-2015
VFS Center: MUMBAI
Received at High Commission on: none
Under Processing Start Date on: none
This is my 2nd application. My first one was rejected at chennai on grounds of missing documentation.
Spoke with member of UKVI today ,they mentioned the official stats is on gov.uk website (mentioned below). My application is in queue and avg processing time for mumbai is 30 working daysRaju1 wrote:Thanks PariJ for the update on your timelines.
In your case, it's been already 10 working days from the date of your application at Mumbai. But the processing timelines published at http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/India/pdf/In ... 290515.pdf shows that settlement visas taken only 4 working days for Mumbai.
I still can't get what's the exact logic behind these processing timelines. Is it like non local application takes more processing time at BHC?
Please do post your status as soon as hear back from Mumbai BHC.
Regards,
Raju
heyyy yeahhh the wait is killing really. I got that reply via ukvi too on 20th may that 'your application has been delayed whilst doing further enquiries'.heyheyheyguys wrote:Hi Amneet, we have similar timelines.. But it's been 37 working days for me (you're counting the bank holidays).. On the May 19th I received a message that my application has been delayed due to further enquiries..
I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I think I'm going to hold out another week then contact them again to see if anything has changed. Seems like people who applied before me via the same vfs office are also waiting so it's reassuring to know in a way that we're not alone.heyheyheyguys wrote:I would suggest that you write to them and escalate your enquiry.
