Settlement Visa from India : Timeline

Hello everyone,
I have submitted (Bio) my wife's application from VAC- Sylhet, Bangladesh on 26 October 2015. Our application processed in New Delhi hub. It was my 2nd time fresh application.
On 8th Nov (after 31 working days), i emailed for an update. In reply, they have said that 'processed and decision has been made'.
I logged on to my application online portal, everything seems same ! We have made all the payments cash at VAC. Anyone have any idea how long does it take to get any formal email ? or PP returns ?
I am really worried now about outcome !! Anyone have the similar experience ?

Has anyone had any updates from there October applications? Applied 28th oct and I rang Wednesday and they said delayed pending further enquires.. How long does that take? Is this the last step?

Anyone else having any luck?

Hello everyone,
My wife received a call this afternoon from our local VAC (Sylhet, Bangladesh) to collect passport. Fri-Sat office closed, so passport will be collected on Sunday. Please pray for us..

Documents submitted 13 October - also in the delayed for further enquiries state now.

Did you ask for a update or was it sent to you? With mine I contacted UKVI, I haven't heard a thing from the home office tho. I don't know what's happening with my case. I contacted my solicitor and she keeps telling me not to contact them even though I haven't told her I have emailed and called to ask about my wife's application progress, buts it's just so hard not knowing. Might have to take her advice now

Yeah I noticed that to, mine been delayed since last Friday and I don't know why. maybe this coming week we might hear something. In my head all I keep saying is I haven't got the email to say it's not straightforward so there's still a small chance for it to happen before the Xmas/new year breaks. It's horrible to wait I get it but there is nothing we can do

Hello everyone,
My wife got her passport today with visa stamped dated: 30/11/2015. Visa deadline: 30/12/2015
Now, 2 weeks left to travel !

Just rang UKVI again hoping to hear something but unfortunately not :-/ they have had my application on hold since the 24th Nov should I escalate or not? I am trying to avoid doing it, but looks like I might have to. Does escalating the case cause any problems?

i applied for my wife visa on 18th Nov, and have received SMS today saying her visa application has been processed . i am not sure what would be in it until i get the post from there i think. can anybody comment on possibility ?? we only did one enquiry via email service though.

Alas, not much of an update. Last week's processing time for New Delhi was 26-30 days, this week they don't give the numbers for Delhi, only Chennai - 7 (sic) working days. Our application has been keeping them entertained for 43 days so far.

6 October 2015 - Online application
13 October - Documents submitted in Ahmedabad office
24 November - Email from UKVI requesting additional information
26 November - Additional information sent by email
1 December - Web form status enquiry; answer: Escalated to the relevant department
8 December - Web form status enquiry; answer: Delayed for further checks
18 December - Web form status enquiry; answer: In progress

I was expecting that visa processing would take longer time but it didn't.

As my previous post I received email back in 30th November for my wife's visa application from Pakistan. I made application at vfs Karachi online on 7-October n biometric on 10th October. I send supporting documents on 15 oct posted to ukvi Sheffield from London.
My query is mule it's been almost 3 months and I haven't received any decision should u contact vfs for expedition of my application or wait for more days.

We have just got final email from Chennai BHC to inform us that visa application has been processed and dispatched etc., so thought it would be a good time to share our application time line below. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I will update the final outcome once the passport is back in my partners hand :-/

I am in the similar boat. I have submitted my wife application on 23rd Dec in Hyderabad and we have received email today saying your application has been processed and despatched. I cant beleive they made decision with in 15 working days. Hopefull it is good one.

I know it is excellent. Though I did see that Chennai processing stats have improved to 100% processed in 30 days as of Nov 2015. Just hope the outcome is desirable.

26 Jan 2016 Sent email inquire to vfs regarding status n received a reply that no current updates either the application is new or details incorrect. I sent another query with all details of timeline n received a reply no current update.

I am now getting worried of outcome as it's taking so long.

Hello everyone, My wife submitted her application from Pune India on 27th Jan and it was sent same day to BHC.

Today (29th Jan) we have received a mail stating a decision has been made on the application. Unfortunately we won't know the status until Monday or Tuesday when it reaches back Pune from Delhi. (I expected them to send the application to Mumbai but they sent it to Delhi somehow).

We have waiting period for next around 3 days not knowing what the result is and that is just killing me. Has anyone had visa processing done in a single day earlier?
