Please do a search on the forum, you'll find many threads with the same question.

On the Notice of Refusal you will have a letter stating your right of appeal and the method in which to appeal. You will then need to put together a case answering each point they have refused you over and ONLY those points.

What's your Solicitor's phone number and what is he refusing to do?

Salam to every one. Im due to apply for my wife visa in january , and ill be inshallah completing 6 months of the employment period which i earn 22,000 gross pay. My pay slips always genetetaed in the last day of the month but my salary reflects different dates on the bank statements, like a week after , so the dates for my 6 months salary differ from the pay slips. And another question is my net pay shows 1495 in my pay slips after tax and all . Do they count the net pay as whole or the gross pay. Can some one please help me

Pay days can and do fluctuate, they fluctuate for me as well. Provided the paid amount matches what is on the pay slip, there shouldn't be a problem. What counts is your gross pay not the net pay, if the grow pay is over the 18.6k mark, you're fine. I get my pay slip usually on the 15th of the month and I get paid 3/4 days later so you're in the same boat as many.

My solicitors firm is Bukhari Chambers, hes not refusing to do anything, he was useless from the beginning just pretty much said do this do this and that and il put it all into a file for you and charge you for it lol. Regarding a review, he is now asking the same and hence id rather do it myself if its that easy?

As far I'm concerned you are therefore paying them for consultation and nothing else, you can get that for free on here from many experienced applicants.

Appeal process is relatively simple provided you're not someone who is easily over-awed.

You will have 28 days from the day you received your notice of refusal to file the appeal. You don't have to submit all new evidence immediately, but you will need to keep the appeal case number so you can send the full appeal case shortly after when you do receive your supporting evidence.

The type of appeal depends on the refusal points, so if it's just 1/2 most people should put together a full on case with no holds barred, ie. submit everything and completely annihalate the ECO (in a nice way of course) saying they made the wrong decision because of x,y and z.

If however you have multiple points to address and they are complex, then generally the approach is to take this to a judge, keeping back a lot of your arguments for the court day. The reason for this is, you can bombard the HO representative in the court if they even decide to show up. They think they know how to handle you, but if you have some strong evidence they weren't aware of in court, they will be shut up quickly.

WHichever way you choose, it's more like a civil case not a criminal case so it's not difficult. You'll need to think which approach is best based on how you were refused.

Please give me the name and the number of the solicitor/barrister who has tried to rip you off.

You don't need to prove your Polio free, but you will need to prove you're TB free and this is done through the official medical centre for the UKBA in Pakistan, so call Gerrys in Pakistan and set up an appointment for that.

Thank you very much i just got this reply :(

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF and date of birth
and found that there are no current updates. This could be
because your application was submitted recently or the details that you
have provided above are incorrect.

If it is the former you may contact us at a later stage once our records
have been updated. We will be happy to give you the current status of your
application. If the information provided is incorrect then please provide
the 9-digit GWF number and the date of birth of the applicant.
Alternatively, once the process has been completed and a decision has been
made the visa application centre will be in contact as per process.

Though we try our best to complete the visa application process in 15
working days, each application is subject to an individual assessment and
processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and
wait for the processing to be completed. You can check how long you’ll
have to wait for a decision on your visa application in your country (if
you applied from outside the UK) by entering your details at the following
link: https://www.gov.uk/visa-processing-times. Please note that the actual
processing times may vary depending on a range of factors.

We have service level standards for processing UK visa applications. We
will process 90% of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98% within
6 weeks and 100% within 12 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date;
and 95% of settlement applications within 12 weeks of the biometric taken
date and 100% within 24 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date.
Please note that we define 1 week as 5 working days.

For any further details, or should you need to contact us again please
refer to our website at https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/, select
appropriate country, click next and then select “E-Mail form” and
complete as instructed. We will aim to come back to you within 1 day.

please can some one reply my following question.
Thanks in advance.

Home office says that translation of Nikah Nama must be from a certified translator, can you let me know where can I find the certified translator in Lahore? Or should it be translated by any true translator and then I should get it attested by notary public or foreign office?

Has anyone changed jobs after submitting their application? Does this mean a refusal if this is the case? Because some people say that it doesn't mean a refusal because you are still working and the ECO when contacts the tax office can find out how much your getting paid and it shouldn't be a problem? I was wondering if anyone had similar experience and what was their outcome?

Hey Guys,

This may not be the right place to post this or discuss this, but i read an article today which states that after the EU Court ruling, British citizen will be able to bring their Non EU family member to the UK. This sounds exciting as people who maybe refused a visa or are not in a position to apply for spouse visa as yet could see them bringing their partners here. I though id share this and see what you guys think of this. I do apologise if this is inapropriate for this forum.

Interesting..it does provide some hope. But the case mentioned in the article is more specific as the Colombian national was provided with EU card as well. The European Court of Justice (ECJ) said Britain cannot block non-EU family members from entering the country without a travel permit, providing they are settled in another EU country.
