Thank Allah for that. I thank everyone on here because I did learn a lot from this forum.

For those who applied late March looks like your turn in coming and those early April people should not have long to go!

That doesnt necessarily mean rejection. It means they are doing some checks to authenticate your documents and claims (most probably employment and accommodation). If your documents were correct and you paid the right tax you shouldnt worry because when they do those checks they find that you were telling the truth! So in a way its a good thing they are doing a check and not refusing you straight away (this is provided everything you claimed was right, a lot of people get rejected because they paid no tax or incorrect amount of tax).

As of asking for update, you can contact them 100 times, if for whatever reason your case isnt allocated to ECO then you wouldnt get an update. In your case it took more than 12 weeks I think, but that is how these things happen, some people got an answer within a few weeks! Dont worry just wait for the answer then decide what to do.

I actually have a question. Does anyone know if a person with spouse visa can go to college and get free further education? I think it used to be the case I dont know if you can still get support with education if you are on spouse visa. I am thinking of sending my wife for a short course because I dont know if her qualifications will be accepted here!

I'm gna keep asking everyday lol
When did you submit Biometrics??
That is strange I'm sure you submitted end of Feb? ? Your timeline says same also ..
I would keep emailing them as sometimes the lazy hgs just send out a standard email just to meet their "reply within one day timescale"... I'm sure back in April you posted saying delayed for further checks?? Even if that was the case would've expected them to say further checks again still.
Did they not say at the time we will not meet 12 weeks??
Just keep faith in Shaa Allah.

When you do email them point out when you submitted and how many weeks have passed already.
If to no avail then you probably best giving them a call
Hey biometrics were taken on 26th feb
I have been emailing them asking for updates, sometimes they didn't even reply back! Lol I have already stated how many weeks have passed but nothing!
This is what I've been getting;
26 march-the application has been referred to another
authority for enquiries or a final decision.
27 march - found that your application has not yet been
assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer.
31 march- found that the application has been referred to another
authority for enquiries or a final decision.

Then I get an email from islamvisainfo also on 31 march
-Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission in Islamabad.
Unfortunately, the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further checks.  This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.

14 April - found that your application is currently in progress.
27 april- found that your application is currently in progress.
26 may- no current updates!

Maybe another month of waiting for me :(

And congrats kopfan and ab112 :)

As far to my knowledge. .. yes they still can
Best place to approach firstly would be your local advice bureau who would be able to advise you which centres, schools or college in your areas offer the English courses for free.
