Hi tiger90210,

Yes you can submit application online only - not at VAC.

On the application you can clearly state at the time of application you are a fiance and intend to get married on 15th March 2015 (in my case). BHC are aware people take their documents with them and not officially married - however I also included a sponsor letter which I forgot to add on my list (sorry!.. and letter from solicitor supporting my application) and on the sponsor letter it explained that i intend to marry. So it was clear.

Will let you know for certain how that went once we receive the passport!

Every case is different I guess and rules can be interpreted in many ways ... all we should be doing is be supportive and do dua that their application is successful ... they are due to get their outcome in a few days so whatever basis it was is no longer applicable as the case has been processed and due to return at vac.

It will be something unique if it's granted and in Shaa Allah May Allah swt allow such to happen

Remember guys, applications are not checked by muslim/Islamic authorities.

These applications come to Croydon - they are checked to see you can provide, have the housing and that there is evidence this is a real relationship.

They have that option to select fiance because non muslims don't always get married - so this should be fine inshAllah

Do not stress - may Allah make it easy and successful. Ameen

Agree with your fact relating dealt with non muslims
Also wanted to clarify with you ... how do you know that applications come to Croydon??
As far as I remember it was some verification checks are sent to Croydon but mainly everything is handled at isb bhc on majority of cases exception of visitor visas

You could be right - read somewhere in expat forum or somewhere that they were dealt with in Croydon and USA visa's were dealt in Sheffield - but not 100% sure.

I'm gna keep asking everyday lol
When did you submit Biometrics??
That is strange I'm sure you submitted end of Feb? ? Your timeline says same also ..
I would keep emailing them as sometimes the lazy hgs just send out a standard email just to meet their "reply within one day timescale"... I'm sure back in April you posted saying delayed for further checks?? Even if that was the case would've expected them to say further checks again still.
Did they not say at the time we will not meet 12 weeks??
Just keep faith in Shaa Allah.

When you do email them point out when you submitted and how many weeks have passed already.
If to no avail then you probably best giving them a call
Hey biometrics were taken on 26th feb
I have been emailing them asking for updates, sometimes they didn't even reply back! Lol I have already stated how many weeks have passed but nothing!
This is what I've been getting;
26 march-the application has been referred to another
authority for enquiries or a final decision.
27 march - found that your application has not yet been
assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer.
31 march- found that the application has been referred to another
authority for enquiries or a final decision.

Then I get an email from islamvisainfo also on 31 march
-Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission in Islamabad.
Unfortunately, the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further checks.  This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards.

14 April - found that your application is currently in progress.
27 april- found that your application is currently in progress.
26 may- no current updates!

Maybe another month of waiting for me :(

And congrats kopfan and ab112 :)
Sophia20, I think you are one of the unlucky ones that have to wait for longer than 12 weeks but I really do hope that you get your visa and everything works out. If they are doing employment checks we are getting to end of the month so HMRC should be able to tell them about current employment situation and taxes paid so hopefully another week or two. It will happen soon :)

Salam to everyone,

I need advise regarding Landlord letter, I have two formats of letter i don't know which one is perfect for our requirement.

Both formats are below :

1. Number one

To Whom It May Concern

Date: xx-xx-xxxx

From,

<Land Lord Name & Address Details>

Subject: No Objection Letter

This is to confirm that Mr.<your Name> has rented a (1 or 2 or 3) bed room (flat or house) <Flat or house address> managed by us. The (flat / house ) has enough space to accommodate his spouse <Spouse Name> and we have no objection on accommodating his spouse to be on his rented (flat / house).

Please do not hesitate to contact me in case if you need any further details/clarification.

Yours Sincerely,
<Land lord Name>

< Land lord Address Details>
< Land lord Contact number and mail id details>

2. Number Two

To whom it may concern,

My tenant xxxx has been living in my property since xx-xx-xxxx. The tenancy agreement was renewed on xx-xx-xxxx. This agreement is for two years but I am happy for the tenant to renew it for however many times they wish to do so.
The sum of £xxx is the rent per calendar month. This amount does not include any bills, the gas and electric is on a prepaid key system.
I am happy to allow tenant(Name) to live with her husband(Name), in my property, with the same terms in place as agreed upon earlier. The property is spacious enough for Tenant’s(Name) brother,Tenant’s(Name) and her husband, upon his arrival to live there comfortably, without becoming overcrowded. The property entails two double sized bedrooms, one living room, a Spam and in-house toilet and bathroom. The property also accommodates an extra loft room and the advantage of a back garden and a drive in.
If you still wish to contact me in regards to any of the above, you can do so on.

Your Sincerely,

Landlord Name.

xxxxxx--------xxxx-----------xxxxxxx

Now im confused which one is perfect plus second one is my situation because i live with my brother but i think letter should be simple and short.

I would certainly go with the second letter... it covers all the points the eco would look for ... it's not that important to mention brother unless he is on the same tenancy as yourself .

Housing inspection report is what will back up all the information contained so in Shaa Allah everything should go smoothly
