my timeline is same as urs. INSHALLAH we ll get good news very soon.

The email I received on Friday said not yet assessed by ECO. I'm worried now :( how come no pre-assessment or online verification for me? It's a straight forward case...Spouse and I both doctors, Been married nearly 9 years, two kids who are british citizens and spouse earning well above the financial requirement. What's taking them so long? So worried

Hi,

I'm a bit confused so is it any applications for spouse visa made after 6th July 2015 will nees to submit the supporting documents here in the UK via post? U make the application online & just post the documents to the address?

Because in the past the documents were sent or taken to Pakistan for submisstion?

Does the online verifications and pre - assessment take place before eco can assess?
What do they check for online verifications and pre - assessments?
The way s.y.h put it, sounds like if it is being assessed by eco and not verified or pre - assessed then something wrong?

salam everyone
just to let u all know i rang about the status of my application this morning as i am week 14 now. i applied on 25th march
the lady said it was still waiting to be assessed by ECO
she said they are now lagging behind a bit and its only 90% chance of you receiving a reply within 12weeks, where as before it was 99%.

i think this is going to be another Eid alone.
hope they speed up and we all receive good news in this month
INSHALLAH.

I think anyone who will be submitting thier paperwork in the UK according to the new rule change will need to make sure that u submit all original documents including ur spouse TB certificate, English test certificate etc.

Called them today and they said the final stage is when it is assessed by ECO.. They also said there's a huge load of cases with ECO because of the time (summer months are when most people apply for visas and students apply to start university) so it's just a matter of waiting. The guy said hopefully you should get a decision within the next two weeks.. Fingers crossed!!

Asked for an update on my wife's application and was advised to escalate her case as system was showing no updates ... 8 weeks tomorrow since biometrics.
Hope they atleast would have done the pre assessment

Anyone able to comment after how long did they hear back once the case had been esclated with an update ??

Well I asked for the update last Tuesday and they replied that they couldn't find any update or my information is incorrect, in their email they asked few applicants information so they can escalate the case which I did on Wednesday and waiting now for their reply.
