@raza

Any applications that were made on or after 18th march were advised of BRP any prior to this date were under the 33 months scheme. I know its confusing ... it was more for the people under the transition period which was around mid march who would have to wait for passport to see the stamp if it was 33 months or 30 days. But after this date it was clear 30 days stamp equals BRP

BRP is biometric residence permit and is only for those who applied on or after 18th march ... you would automatically get it as it was a part of the application for after 18th march applicants.

Congratulations to all receiving VISAS recently, it seems like they are on a roll.
I applied for my husband's settlement visa early January at a European country (thinking their UK ties would be strong (!))..it is now my 26th week when the maximum time to process is 24 weeks! After numerous escalations, I have received an email that the application has been processed and a decision made. Duas needed that we get the VISA inshaAllah in this holy month of Ramadan. JazakAllah.

Posted additional documents to BHC, so I hope they don't improve their efficiency and my documents get there before they look at my wifes application. I also hope they consider the additional documents.

Anyway I have done all I could now, so the rest is down to luck.

Thank you kindly brother. Feeling reasonably optimist now knowing that it could still get rejected for a different reason (although I cannot think of any) but at least I have done everything I could have. They tend to reject if they lack any paperwork and expect you to apply again rather than to give you a chance to supply the additional paperwork.

Assalaamo Alaikum friends.

I have been a silent reader. My timeline is as follows:

Spouse Application online : 23/03/2015
Documents and Biometric Lahore: 15/04/2015
Confirmation: 16/04/2015
Update: 22/06/15
"Initial pre assessment and online verification conducted . Application is under process for further enquiries – checks'

Not heard anything since and we were also not advised about the BPR during the online application or at biometrics.

In Shaa Allah you should be hearing soon
With the BRP there is nothing to worry about
If you have a 30 days vignette on your passport it means you will need to enter uk within 30 days and collect BRP within 2 weeks from the post office which will be named on a letter you will get when you get the passport and documents back ... the post office will be a local post office and it's just a card that states your rights under the visa and a photo with a chip that hold biometrics taken at time when passport was submitted
Nothing to be worried about dw

My Call With UKVI

Thought I would share the experience I've had today with ukvi call centre Manager ...
In regards to status updates the reason why alot of us are getting an update when requested of no current updates or like some are getting record not found/submitted recently is because after 3 weeks the status is taken off the systems.
You must be thinking like I was that 3 weeks but in our cases it's been months!!! I got the manager to elaborate on this and he said 3 weeks as in when it starts getting actioned so that would mean they've already started pre assessment blah blah.
When the above happens they require the applicants to escalate the case to get an update and this is normal during this phase .
So basically the bulls**t we get in our email updates is lies in most cases and the only valid emails are from bhc saying received, processed or in some cases delayed and additional documents.
So for anyone who wants an update and is on week 8 roughly I would suggest when emailing just to request escalation for update.

People that submitted their application between 13 to 17th April should be hearing next week or the week after. So we will be on mid April next week.

Salams, can you please elaborate a bit on where the 3 week period starts from? Slightly confused
