I just called up the ukvi helpline my visa application was also processed on the 31st. The guy said within 7 working days the Application should be available for collection. If after 7 working days you don't receive a text or call for collection. Escalate the matter. So for those of us who's applications were processed on the 31st, if by 11th August we don't hear, we can chase up. Inshallah won't be long and everyone will get the positive outcome

Great news
In Shaa Allah hope it's good news also when he receives his documents
Would suggest maybe best waiting until you get a text from gerrys
They would've probably dispatched passport today so can be with you any day

The documents which I submitted which I was concerned about after the submission when reading the forum were the 28 day rule for the employment letter mine was well over 28 days. The payslips I submitted were printed online as that's how I receive it and I submitted last 8 month bank statement but the April statement was printed online. My p60 was 2013-2014 as I didn't receive 2014-2015 at the time of submission.

Obviously you should try to submit all documents as originals and latest within 28 days so the ECO doesnt have a reason to refuse.

But I count myself lucky and thank Allah

Slaam to all,

Congratulation to all those who have been grated Visa and I pray that you may have the blessed married life. For those who are expecting to hear soon, may you hear positive reply from UK BHC soon.
Now wondering how many people on this forum who applied in April and not had application processed yet?
I applied on 15-april-2015 and not had email processed yet, at the moment getting motivated myself by looking at others people getting visa.

Here is my timelime line:
VAC on 15-04-2015 in mirpur
04-07-2015: it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).
08-07-15: found that a decision on your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being conducted
08-07-15: Application was escalated
15-07-15: 'Initial checks/pre assessment completed. Application is in Entry Clearance Officer’s queue for further assessment.
17-07-15: Application is currently in progress
24-07-15: Application is currently in progress
27-07-15: Application is currently in progress

Thanks,

Salaam,

@Nasir & @Saj

Just to remind u, my timeline

Spouse Application online : 23/03/2015
Documents and Biometric Lahore: 15/04/2015
Confirmation: 16/04/2015
Update: 22/06/15
"Initial pre assessment and online verification conducted . Application is under process for further enquiries – checks'
Update: 13/07/15
"Further delays due to inquiry into paperwork"

I have escalted 3 times once before Eid and twice after and only today did i recieve this reply:

"We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF*********** and date of birth
**/**/****) and found that there are no current updates. This could be
because your application was submitted recently or the details that you
have provided above are incorrect.

If it is the former you may contact us at a later stage once our records
have been updated. We will be happy to give you the current status of your
application. If the information provided is incorrect then please provide
the 9-digit GWF number and the date of birth of the applicant.
Alternatively, once the process has been completed and a decision has been
made the visa application centre will be in contact as per process.

Though we try our best to complete the visa application process in 15
working days, each application is subject to an individual assessment and
processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and
wait for the processing to be completed. You can check how long you'll have
to wait for a decision on your visa application in your country (if you
applied from outside the UK) by entering your details at the following
link: https://www.gov.uk/visa-processing-times. Please note that the actual
processing times may vary depending on a range of factors.

We have service level standards for processing UK visa applications. We will process 95% of settlement applications within 12 weeks of the biometric taken
date and 100% within 24 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date.
Please note that we define 1 week as 5 working days."

For some reason it seems like my application isn't even on thier system even though my GWF number and Date of Birth are correct, i feel so confused! Please someone help our online application was submitted back in MARCH!

@ sairah23
Did you fill the GWF number with the ‘GWF’ prefix on the ukvi email form. I am refereeing this GWF number under the ‘GWF (if you have one)’ on email form.
In my experience, if you provide the GWF number with the prefix GWF in this filed then UKVI automated system does not pick that up and sends you reply same as you have received.
If you have provided the GWF with the prefix GWF then I would say not to worry and ask for the update again and this time provide the GWF number without prefixing the ‘GWF’ at the start.
Best of Luck

I had same reply from them, with or without GFW prefix. The call center can not track your application, I believe they can only track short term visa applications. If you chase them they will escalate it to someone who will check and give you an answer on the status. The staff in the first line responders do not have the authority to track long term visa applications.

In my case, I called them and they said the same thing, eventually after 5 days, they got back and said, my application is waiting to be accessed, when at first instance they could not find the application.

Salaam all

Reading these previous posts I feel like I'm one of the few late April applicants who hasn't received a decision on visa application yet.

We submitted our biometrics on 23/04/15 and since 16th July I have received mixed emails when I asked for update.

1st email said my application is delayed due to further checks.

2nd email said it is currently under process.

3rd email said it hasn't even been assessed by ECO yet!

It's already such a hard process with the waiting and being so far away from our loved ones. I don't know why they won't put in some effort and give us correct updates on the status of our application.

From my own calculations I have to wait till 26/08/15 for our 90 working days to be up. Have I calculated this right?

Please remember me in your duas like I will remember you all in mine. In sha Allah all our visas will be granted soon and we will be reunited with our loved ones very very soon. Ameen.
2nd Visa Application: 23/04/2015
Visa Refused: 07/09/2015
Appealed Lodged: 30/09/2015
Review Deadline: 15/02/2016
Review Overturned: 22/02/2016
Call in letter received via email: 21/03/2016
Passport submitted to VAC Islamabad: 07/04/2016
