Yes I paid for them . Yes I got 2. 1 for each at a cost of £44 each. I probably don't even need them but after reading the horror stories on here of applications being refused due to non-confirmation of results, I want to make sure I provide everything possible.shakoorh wrote:Did you have to pay for the C&G confirmation letter? Letter of support meaning basically a cover letter explaining how the relationship was formed, my background and plans for the future. The sponsorship declaration is the one where the solicitor 'fills the gaps' and I sign and he signs to say he witnessed it.
I've been in my job for 10 months so thought it would be better to include all wages and statements covering this period. I thought this would look better showing more wages and a steady bank account.

Wouldn't make a difference as they want to see the results online on the official examination board website or their portal an alternative would be to get a letter from examination board and the test centre confirming your wife say examaans confirm the results.irfan278 wrote:Yes I paid for them . Vaf4a is still need to fill online.irfan278 wrote:On the first page of the appendix 2 it states:
'You MUST also complete and submit the main Personal Details Form (VAF4A). Failure to do so will delay your application.'
The appendix 2 is still dated December 2013. Am I right in thinking the VAF4A has been replaced by a printout of the online form? Or does it still need to be filled in and submitted?

C&G is the examination board isn't it? Also, by test centre do you mean where it says on the mark sheet? Because my wife did her test in Regency Hotel Mirpur, but the centre on the mark sheet is UK College of English Language mirpur.Raymandosnr wrote:Wouldn't make a difference as they want to see the results online on the official examination board website or their portal an alternative would be to get a letter from examination board and the test centre confirming your wife say examaans confirm the results.irfan278 wrote:

My spouse visa application is one of the April 2015 applications that have not had any decision yet.
Below is my most up to date escalations reply. I escalated once but had update twice on 19 and 25 august.
Now wondering if anybody can predict how far our application is from the final decision.
Does the last escalation update means that they have received reply from UK authorities and now our application is again in the queue or update 29-08 and 05-08 has same meaning.
Escalation reply on 29-08-2015
'Initial checks and pre assessment completed. Further assessment/checks are
being carried out by the Entry Clearance Officer. Application is in queue
for further assessment and checks/enquiries.'
Escalation reply on 25-08-2015
'Unfortunately, the situation regarding your visa application remains
unchanged and we are still awaiting the outcome of routine checks before we
can resolve your case.'
Escalation reply on 05-08
'Your application is under process. We are waiting for results from UK
authorities. We will update applicant via email as soon as a decision has
been made and her documents are ready for collection.'
Update from UKVI on 24-07
In progress
