Urgent Query about FLR (M) Appointment Date

My wife was issued a 33 Month UK Spouse visa on 12/06/2014
She entered the UK on 11/08/2014
Her visa expires on 12/03/2017

She has been living in the UK for 29 Months and 13 Days.

I have booked her FLR (M) Appointment for tomorrow 24th January 2017, which is 18 days before her 30 month completion in the UK.

I have read so much information online and called the UK Visa people so many times and get so much conflicting answers.

What I'd like to know is if you think its ok for us to attend this appointment tomorrow or if I should re-schedule it? Would they turn us away, would I lose my fee because its more than 28 days before the visa expiry date?

I need to know please as having read so much info just dont know what to believe.

My thinking is that if the FLR M is granted tomorow that its expiry will be 24 july 2019 which would be 18 days before her 60 month completion in the UK and as she can apply for ILR 28 days before her qualifying period that she would be ok?

Or am I missing something?

Or is it a case that you must reside 60 months and then apply for ILR within 28 days of your FLR Expiry?

Your wife could have applied from 28 days before completing her 30 months in the UK. She will also be able to apply for ILR 28 days prior to the visa FLR(M) expiry date.

So just to double check we are Ok for tomorows appointment?
