Visa Application for Spouse in Pakistan.

Post by newbie00 » Fri Apr 11, 2008 6:05 pm

Hello All

I wonder if anyone could give me some helpful advice. My sister is getting ready to apply for a visa for her husband, who is in Pakistan. We have some of the documentation ready, but we keep on getting told that we also need this and that aswell. It is starting to confuse me and we don't want to cause problems for ourselves if we submit an incorrect document.
Also what forms do we need to fill in here and send back to Pakistan, with the documentation.

In addition I own the property (which we live in), which is mortgage free and i have a letter drawn up from my solicitor stating that my sister and brother in law, will be staying with me rent free.

Here is a list of what we have and please could someone advise us, if it is correct/incorrect etc.

1) Wedding invites.
2) Marriage certificate (Translated).
3) Photos.
4) Personal letters, sent from U.K.

5) Wage Slips (3 months).
6) Employers Letter.
7) P60.
8.) Bank statements (3 months)

9) Solicitors letter.
10) Council letter (environmental health inspection).
11) U.K Passport photocopies (signed by solicitor).

Any help is much appriciated, Thank You.

If your sister is British or settled, then he may use VAF4.
