Visa4UK online application questions

Post by men2006 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 8:35 pm

Hello everyone,

Im on ILR. Planning to apply visa for my wife is in india.
a) I have chosen the below for "Select visa type";
Reason for visit: Settlement
Visa type: Settlement
Visa Sub type: Settlement
Are these correct?
b) Is it sponsor or applicant details should go in "Family details" section ? Mother/ Father etc..
c) Do I need to fill VAF4A hard copy?

Really appreciate your responses.

A)Yes settlement is right visa category
b) you are filling this form on behalf of applicant so i suppose family details here mean details of his/her sponsor but again applicants only fill this sponsorship declaration form if they are applying as a parent, grandparent or other over 18 dependant relative of a British Citizen/Setted person
c) no hard copy is for those who has not got this facility of submitting online application. Its basically same form. You print it and then applicant signed it before sending it to Sheffield along with other documents

Thanks modern_newton. Sorry didnt mention it clearly. Not applying on behalf of applicant. Applicant is applying from india so I guess it should be applicant's father and mother details. Am i correct?
