wages and bank statement

what do they look at bank statements- I get paid cash and sometimes keep money and deposit rest varies times in bank but end of month still have over £1200 remaining in bank. problem is my bank statement don't correspond with wages I have all slips tax return letter a bank certificate too and statements any help please applying spouse visa
