will child benefit and working tax credit affect extension

dear every one,
My wife will apply to extend her visa in Mrach 2017.

we got a year old child British citizen

we got Child benefit and working tax credit.

Me and my wife working full time total income together £19650 per Year.

I am wondering will the Child benefit and work tax credit affect My Wife application when She apply to extend the visa.

If you are claiming the benefits correctly, then NO, it will not affect her extension application. Child benefit in YOUR name only. Child tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse.

sorry i did a mistake in the Post we get child Benefit and child tax credit not work tax credit.

when we applied I mentioned that My wife not eligible for public refund.

I hope that every things will be OK.

Child benefit must be in your name only. Child tax credits must be awarded in joint names with your spouse, this is very important as if only in your name, it can be seen as deception/fraud. You need to check what the letters say.
