advise needed

Please advise me

I recently found that by mistake my profits were declared wrong in 2009/10. They are 5000, but were declared as 4000.

I sent a letter and the amended SA form to HMRC, they confirmed that they received it and will let me know in 4wks about the difference I owe to HMRC as there was an increase in profits.

All other returns from 2010 are upto date and I do not owe them any balances.

I got initial Tier1 in Jan 2010 and Tier1 extension in Jan2013. Will be applying for ILR next week.

Can you please advise if it is OK to go for ILR even I owe some tax for the 1000 pounds difference with HMRC.
