Change of passport -impact on ILR

Post by vrsuk » Thu Jul 24, 2014 3:26 pm

Hi,

My son got a new passport as a consequence of expiration of his old passport and his indefinite leave has been approved on old passport, will this means shall I need to apply for NTL with home office to update new passport details? or is it ok to continue. I would like to apply for registering British Citizenship in months time, during that time will case worker create any problem stating new passport details are not updated?

As usual, appreciate guys your support, lets start debate on this pls..

Thanks
VRSUK

You can attach old and new passport together. No need to apply for NTL. Just send both passports when you register him as a British citizen.
