Guys - Need advice from senior members please ?
Currently I am on Tier 1 visa (expiring in Aug 2015!)
Initially I was on Tier 2 (ICT) entered UK on 17th Jan 2010.
Applied for Tier 1 (visa) by post on 16th July 2010.
Shifted to Tier 1 from 23 Aug 2010 (Valid for 3 years).
Did my Tier 1 extension in the UK (Valid for 2 years) upto 23 Aug 2015.
Number of days absent in the last 5 years if I apply my visa on 15th March 2015 is as below:
1 15-Mar-2015 16-Mar-2014 - No absentee
2 15-Mar-2014 16-Mar-2013 30 Days absent (holidays)
3 15-Mar-2013 16-Mar-2012 16 Days absent (holidays)
4 15-Mar-2012 16-Mar-2011 166 Days (Working with Indian company - was due to be transferred to London Branch)
5 15-Mar-2011 16-Mar-2010 110 Days (Working with Indian company - was due to be transferred to London Branch)
My questions are (as my case is definitely not a straightforward case)
1. I am breaking a 8 months long break into 2 such that I don't show a break of more than 180 days in 1 continuous year of stay. I was away from 1st Jan 2011 to 17 Aug 2011. This was because I was working for an Indian IT company & was called back as Project finished. I was then transferred to London HQ/Company (Process took longer than expected).
In this case, what proof do I need to submit ? I was paid in India during this 8 months however I do have tax returns for all the 5 years with the HMRC in UK.
2. Can I book 2 appointments 1. for ILR on 15th March 2015 & one for Tier 1 Extension on 21st March 2015 ? Is this possible under the same login ID ?
3. I was absent for ~315 days in the last 5 years of my residency in UK. Does this impact my ILR application given I am breaking the big break of 226 days into 2 breaks of 166 & 110 days?
I would really appreciate the guidance from each & everyone here. I did see quite a similar case (almost exact case approved). However I need to know to be sure the above looks good.
Question 2 is also very important I would like to be safe rather than sorry.
Thanks,
Vinny
