Hello,
I am going to apply for my ILR via Tier 1 general route. I am showing my last 12 months income through employment and I score 90 points for my ILR application this time.
I have shown self assessment and employment during my Tier 1 (general) visa in 2010-11 and Tier 1 General extension. I have 2 concerns in my application and need your opinion:
1) During 2010-11, for my Tier 1 general visa I have shown my income of £36454.06 (23020 from SA and 13434.06 from empl) for the period of March 2010 till Feb 2011. I had loss of £1500 in my SA during March 2011, so I paid tax for income £35164.06 (21520 from SA and 13644.06) for the year ending 5th April 2011.
2) During 2012-13, for my Tier 1 general extension, i have shown my income of £9070 from SA for the period July 2012 and June 2013 for which i had to pay tax of £6802.50 during 2012-13 and 2267.50 during 2013-14.
a) While paying tax for year 2012-13, there was a mistake and paid tax only for £2813.00. I realised this last year when i called HMRC to let them know that I closed my business (as I am fully into employment now). I amended the tax return and paid full tax for 6802.50 and got documents from HMRC proving the amendment on 23rd June 2016.
b) I paid full tax for the profit £2903.00 during 2013-14 (even though i have shown only 2267.50 for UKBA during visa extension) and no issues on 2013-14 tax returns.
I have earned and paid tax for 35k during 2010-11 and earned 35k and above on all years beginning July 2012 till now.
Will I have problem with my ILR Visa application due to above mentioned issues. Please advise.
Thanks for your help.
