Evidence of Absences

Post by zaheeruk » Thu Oct 23, 2014 3:21 pm

Hi,

I will be applying for my ILR in November. I have a question about my absences. I was out of UK

2010: 9 days and 15 days separately
2012: 24 days
2013: 41 days

I'm trying to get my old company to provide evidence of absences but they have refused(via email). Will this be a problem. I have read some blogs where small absences do not need evidences. Quick responses will be greatly appreciated.

It purely depends on the case worker. He/She may want evidence of leave

OK. That doesn't help me :D . I have read that if I provide evidence that I asked and the company has refused then it should be fine. I just have to take my chances then :(

Attach the email where the employer has refused to confirm. Get bank statement and salary slips for the absence period to show that the absences were authorised and that you had no pay-cut for the same.

This is exactly what we did and got our ILR without any hassles.
