Few Ques about ILR

Post by xrootx » Tue Aug 26, 2014 2:38 pm

Hi Guys,
Can some body please help me on the following questions.

1 - I am due ILR on 10 year (Long res) next month and on Tier 1 in Jan 2015 , what you guys suggest is better route. Personally I would like to go on 5 year Tier 1 as I can use premium one day service. Any suggestions?
2 - Is there any validity period of Life in UK test or you can take it any time ?.
3 - When can I book PEO appointment , if I select the Tier 1 path (jan 2015).

Thanks

hi,

Q1: i am not too sure- wait for more senior members to reply.
Q2: you can do the LIUK test at any time. they do not expire. you do need to take it at least 2-3days before your appointment to allow for the results to be captured.
Q3: appointments are generally made available 42day in advance. some offices (like Solihull) only release appointments a few weeks in advance. you can apply 28days before your visa expires

1. Tier 1 , if u can easily satisfy the points, especially on income. Also if u have dependents, better to go through tier 1.
2. No validity. U can use it whenever u qualify. Make sure u dont loose it as replacement is not issued.
3. appointments are released 45 days before
