How to pay the excess fee - Thats actually a million dollar question :-) :!:
I am in the same boat as well.
New fees will be coming into effect on 6 April 2014 for sure and new form too, thats for sure. Most feel that we have to pay the excess on D-Day or we should get some notification from UKVI. Also, a member of this forum(not sure who/when it is) called UKVI for the same query. They confirmed that people who booked appointment before fee increase, they will pay only the fee which was existing before increase.

Hi there

do you mean that if we book an appointment before 6th April for any date after 6th april, we will pay the fee which is applicable today (before increase)? We don't have to pay any offset money for the increase after 6th April? is it really confirmed? if yes can you send me any links as an evidence?

I called UKBA and same reply. As long as you book your appointment before April 6th, one would be paying the old fee.

Big thanks to the guys who did lot of analysis on this.

You can actually use the old forms for 3 weeks after they change providing the correct fee is paid.

when we book an appointment, and do the payment, so we have to print out the payment summary/receipt page from the website, or they send any confirmation through email too?

I'm asking because I don't have instant access to printer, so i'm planning to book first and then get a print from somewhere from email confirmation.

Anyone?

I have taken out the print of payment summary PDF and appointment confirmation email.
Anything else needed to show proof of appointment?

that is what i noticed, there are two fees mentioned on page 5 & 6 of set O form but none of these relates to ILR via Tier 1 (G).

Also, i thought the fee (with one Dependatnt) will be £3234 as per new fee structure but its £2986 when you try to book online appointment.

Can anyone comment please?

How did you calculate the fees as 3234? can you do the breakup?

The fee currently (after 6th April) for one main + one dependent is 2986 (which is 1093 main, 1093 dep, plus extra 400 each, so 1093+1093+400+400=2986).

the same day fee offset was standard fee + 375, now after 6th April its standard + 400.

I confirmed it as well from home office. The guy said if you booked the appointment before the fee increase you don't need to pay the remaining balance.

If you have booked PEO appointment in advance i.e. before 06th April then you need not to pay the difference. I had my appointment on 16th and they considered the online payment sheet.
