ILR Application & Driving Offence

Post by speedyvsmickey » Sun Jan 13, 2013 7:30 pm

Hi, currently on employer sponsored visa (Tier 2 General), I will be applying for ILR later this year when the 5 years complete. About a year and a half ago I was caught driving without proper licence. A few months later I received a summons from Magistrates Court stating three options:

1. Accept the charges and don't appear in court
2. Accept the charges and appear in court (to explain your situation)
3. Contest the charges

I accepted the charges and appeared in court (option 2 above). The court gave me three points and a fine.

Can someone advise if and how this will affect my application for ILR?

Thanks in advance!
