ILR APPROVED @ SHEFFIELD

Post by hbkimran » Mon Oct 20, 2014 9:18 am

By the grace of All Mighty Allah, ILR approved at Sheffield. Thanks everybody for prays, help and support.

Dependents 2 (Wife and Son)
I was on tier1 - General (3 Year + 2 Years).
Initial entry clearance: 08-Nov-2009
First entry to UK: 01-Dec-2009
Absences: 21 days in 5 Years + initial 23 day late entry to the uk.

Sheffield PEO experience.
1. My appointment was at 10:30am on Saturday 18th October Reached there at 9.55. Initial security checks(similar to the airport security check), Then to the counter-2 to validate your appointment and get a token at 10.02.

2. 10.10 Then, there will be an initial check of your application(just a scan through) to make sure you have used the correct application forms, you have all the passports, photos, ...etc.

3. 11:15 Called for the biometrics (counters 9) which takes nearly 10 minutes.

4. 12:15 Called at counter 5 and told ILR granted.

Supporting documents submitted:
1. Accountant Letter
2. bankstatements (12 months) Personal + Business
3. letter from the employer
4. Life in the uk test results
5. KOL test pass certificates
5. cohabitation - council tax papers + tenancy papers + spouse bank statements

That's it I think....

Note(1): I didn't have any unpaid absences. Its was salary + self employment case
Note(2): I had all my documents(like the marriage certificate, university degree, NARIC letter, ...etc) with me just incase if required.

Car parking: Private parking, available just opposite to the UKBA office. For details, £3.80 allday.

Cheers,
