Congrats Redo, all the best to others, it seems that UKBA is getting quicker in response (apologies to those who are waiting in agony!) but i was reading posts from last year the average waiting time is 8 months!!
Redo did you send P60 for the 5 years in addition to your payslips and bank statements for the last year?
many thanks

Good morning all

I am also awaiting for the result of my application. It was sent on 04/10, so it's now three months and still no result.

I already had my Biometrics taken in 31 October.

I did not provide my P60s with my application, as it did not seem to be required from the application form. Does this affect my application?

I'm starting to get worried as well. :? :(

That is Right, P60 for 5 years is not required, i thought it may strengthen my case somehow, mine was sent on 9th of October and still waiting for response, i start feeling worried and restless i also feel hostage with no passport, i can't plan anything for the next 6 months!
By any standards UKBA is delivering very poor service and i am amazed they charge premium money for this service!!!!

Finally we can report that my Egyptian husband got his ILR Visa SET (M) after an incredible wait of one year and one month!

No reason or excuse given for this appalling service apart from the current backlog of cases.

Postal application for Indefinite Leave to Remain sent on 29 October 2012
Biometrics done 12th December 2012
DAT 1 form requested and done 11th February 2013
ILR Granted and Residence Permit received 29th November 2013

What a load off our minds. It's like we can begin our lives again.

So don't lose hope if you are waiting a long time. Ours was a straightforward SET M spouse visa and look how long we were made to wait. In the last week I called the helpline twice and two agents that week who admitted even they were surprised at the time it was taking, told me that they would send an email to the case worker to flag that the case was well outside the SLA (Service Level Agreement). We received the result very soon after that.

Now life can begin again :-)

Thank you NORTS. Yes it was a very long stressful year. Even our MP didn't get anywhere and several letters of complaint. We were really starting to get very worried. Thanks to all in this forum for all the support. We wish you all well and good news very soon x

Have you tried their Croydon Call centre? (Phone: 0870 606 7766)
It takes a while for them to answer but the staff is normally quite helpful.

Hi everyone,

I got my biometric card on the 20th Dec (but they had been trying to send it for a few days... i just wasn't home to receive the delivery). The letter said that my approval letter and documents would be sent along shortly.... but I haven't received anything since and I'm starting to get a bit worried that something has happened to them!!

Has anyone else had to wait this long to get their documents back after their residence permit card has arrived??? Should I be calling someone? If so how since I know that they're not keen on hearing from us!

Thanks! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. I posted my application on the 28th of August so things dont always take 6 months like they say.

I called 08706067766 today and they told me that my application is incomplete (may take up to 6 months or More) i finished 4 months now and I am thinking of contacting The MP for what is worth! I got a job offer at hand conditioned with my Visa status so i can't start this job till they see my Visa and they will not wait for ever, i got a letter from them saying that, any suggestions? should i contact MY MP and send her this Letter or it is Just an utter waste of time? any encouraging experiences?

Do you mean there are no decisions yet? Or were your submitted requirements incomplete?

My application has been over 3 months as well, and I am looking to chase them after the 4 months period.
