Hi tmpmem,
Thank you for the information.
Because, I have applied after 28/10/2013, I do not need to provide the original passport of my husband, photocopies of the entire passport is sufficient.

Ok. Sorry I wasn't aware of this.
I still think there should be no travel restriction on your husband.

Hi Guys,

Biometrics done on the 19th or 20th of Dec 2013 (can't remember exact date)
Decision received from HO today (09/April 2014), letter date 07/April 2014)
Biometrics card with ILR arrived today 09/April 2014.

Its been encouraging reading other people's progress on this forum, so thought I would update you guys on mine.

I wish everyone still waiting for theirs the Best of Luck.

Cheers.

Hi all,
My BRPs arrived on Monday 07 Apr for my Set (O) application. This is 5 months to the day from when I sent it.

Details below:
1. Current visa: Tier 1 Gen (via HSMP)
2. Application form used for ILR: SET (O)
3. Number of dependants applying at same time: 1
4. Date application posted: 07-11-2013
5. Date application received at UKBA: 08-11-2013
6. Date payment debited: 12-11-2013
7. Payment mode : Debit Card
8. Acknowledgement letter received: Dated 11-11-2013
9. Biometric letter (for applicant) received: 23-12-2013 (Dated 19-12-2013)
10. Biometric letter (for dependent) received: 27-12-2013 (Dated 19-12-2013)
11. Date of biometrics enrollment (applicant): 23-12-2013
12. Date of biometrics enrollment (dependent): 27-12-2013
13. Date of documents and passports received (by post): 05-04-2014 (Dated 02-04-2014)
14. Date biometrics card received (via signed DX delivery): 07-04-2014 (Dated 02-04-2014)

Couple of items to note:
1. We initially sent an application in September. We didn't move funds into the proper account quickly enough and this initial application was rejected. We rec'd notice a few weeks later to reapply - which we did in November. What I didn't realize at the the time was that because my Tier 1 visa expired in Sept, this caused me to overstay my visa. My employer in late December did an annual visa confirmation check of all their employees and my not having the right to work was discovered then. So I was terminated immediately and haven't been working since that time.

2. In the application, I was worried about this clause 11G (HSMP) which requests submitting: 'If you are employed, document(s) showing your economic activity and your personal earnings during your stay'. This seemed to me a catch-all kind of clause/requirement with no clear criteria for approval. My employment over the past 5 years has been spotty - I didn't work for the first year having arrived on the heels of the crash. And I took another year off in 2011 to go back to graduate school. For this, I submitted all of my P60's with the first year missing. Submission of P60's seems to be what most applicants submit for compliance to this. I also submitted records of banking account activity in a joint account for the full 5 years as double duty for this and for confirmation of cohabitation w/ dependent.

Apologies for the length of this but hopefully of use to someone. This postings board has been very useful and supportive. Thanks all for the contributions and best of luck to those waiting.

Hi, I am still waiting for my SET (M) application to be decided (or even looked at i assume). Timeline is:

Submitted application: 6 January 2014
Letter of receipt from HO: 8 January 2014
Biometrics Letter dated: 17 January 2014
Biometrics Completed: 28 January 2014
Approval: Still waiting as of 15 April 2014

Any clues when i could expect this by ? Any chance i'll get it before mid May (holiday to Turkey booked, stupidly).

I assume my application is fairly straightforward. I'm Australian, married my British wife in 2011 but have been and lived together since 2005. Working full time, never overstayed, have a small child etc etc.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Brad

From what I have seen on average it's taken 4 months for applications to be decided so hopefully you will hear good news around 1st or 2nd week of May

Hi Mudi,
It seems you will have to wait for another few weeks because the recent decisions we heard of, were on applications submitted in first week of Dec'13.
We submitted my wife's application on 13th Dec'13 and I am expecting the decision before end of this month.

Good luck!

Sick of waiting now!

Will post my wife's timelines to help others:

Entered UK: 16/12/11
ILR Set (M) posted Special Delivery: 12/12/13
Application received by Home Office: 13/12/13
Payment taken: 17/12/13
Acknowledgement letter received: 19/12/13 (dated 17/12/13)
Biometrics letter received: 21/12/13
Biometrics enrolled at PO: 23/12/13

Heard nothing sinc :( We have called several times and have been told for the last two weeks that they have started Dec 2013 SET M applications. We were hoping for a faster response given the Biometrics letter came through so quickly. In hindsight, if we had any idea it was going to take this long we would have definitely used the premium service :(

Hi All,

I received a letter from HO regarding my absence from UK during 5 years
Now they want to provide from my present and previous employer a latter about absences.
I applied for ILR on tier 1 general bases by post in December 2013
I came to uk in feb 2009.
My employment history below.
1) i started working for Recruitment agency in one of warehouse from April 2009-September 2013, during this period i was working like that work one week and then off 2 weeks some time a 1 month because they called me whenever they need if they didn't need me then i was jobless, but this employer is not providing me any letter.
Then I was jobless from october2010-january20111 but i have no evidence to prove this.

2)Then i started working for another company from period feb 2011-october 2013,during this period i went out of uk 2 times,
first time i went 25 days unpaid holidays in January 2012 and then 32 days( 3 weeks paid and remaining unpaid) in November 2012, so total 57 days

3)Then i started for another company which is my present employer from November 2013 and still working there and never went out of uk.

So My total absence 57 days in 5 years.

Please help me anyone.
Amber please give some advice

Regards
