No, They havn't told me anything about the application itself. What I felt was she had some information at her hand but, she can't reveal it. she kept me on hold for a while and said they will write to me and I should wait fo rthe communication!!!

I just phoned up UKBA regarding the status of my application form. The lady on the phone said my application is for reconsideration and I should continue to wait until they here from us..
What does that mean? I am really worried.
Anybody had similar experience and had success at the end?

Any insight is much appreciated.

My time line:
Applied for SET(M) by post on the 08/01/2014,
Acknowledgement letter on: 09/01/2014
Money deducted on 10/01/2014
Biometrics letter on: 20/01/14
Biometrics enrolled on 03/02/14
Decision: still waiting.

Thank you

I have been a silent reader of this forum during the long wait so wanted to post our timeline as we found it so helpful to follow everyone else's journey!

Original visa: Tier 1 (General)
Main applicant + 4 dependants
Application Set (O)delivered by courier : 20/01/2014
Payment taken: 22/01/2014
Biometrics enrolled: 19/02/2014
Approval letter and documents received: 21/05/2014 (dated 19/05/2014)
BRP: missed delivery, but rearranged for 23/05/2014

Such a relief that the wait is finally over! :D Good luck to those still waiting, we know how tough it is.

Has anyone in january received ILR in cases where sponsor has no job and only applicant is working. I kind of feel my case is been sidelined because my sponsor is not working, all they told me was its not yet completed.

They said the same when I called. Someone else on here called on the same day and were told December, yet some Feb people have had their decisions! For our first visa at least we had an online system that we could log in to that gave us some kind of indication (and something to do!) By the looks of the posts on here we are going to be waiting about another month and a half for our Match SET(M) application

No real consistency in the information provided by the ukba ... looking at the bright side, at least they're not putting the feet up and not answering calls.

The wait is a real killer.

We are similar times. Good we both get good news soon :) The wait is like a constant dead weight around my neck. Do yogurt hurry home to check the post every day? Every day before I open the front door I get butterflies now.

I wonder how anaia got so lucky because i sent in my application on the 14th of Feb ... could it be the difference in the application form? I applied on the SET(O) application form whereas Anaia i believe applied on SET(M). Oh the waiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! I'm checking my post every time i leave home for work and everytime i come back home from work ... i really am getting paranoid about this now lol ...

I phoned this morning and was told they are still looking at January applications. Interestingly they asked me to do a survey about contracting them. I think they may move in the future to having an online tracking system, which would be so much better for those of us waiting!
