Hi Amason

The topic may say 10 years but I know a few guys them and myself who are on Set (m) and (o) so its just a brief for everyone

Hi Kans75,
Keep us posted if you hear anything from HO the next few weeks as it look like they are coming to an end with April Application.
Thx's

Kans75,
The number for home office is 03001232241 option 2. Let us know what they say.

Hi Tangie
Certainly.
It appears HO has started processing Apr '14 applications.
I expect the result in next 2 weeks after a long wait.
You also keep me posted.

Hi Tangie
Thanks for the HO number.
I managed to call HO on Friday. After a long
wait of 15mins,spoke to the guy who said the
appln is being processed(means nothing to me)but could not provide any more
details.

I wonder why HO does not have Web tracking system
as it helps them save time to prioritise their
work and at the same time help applicants
to know their status without these long waiting time
On calls.

Cheers

Hi Kan,
I so agree with you as to making life very easy if we were able to track our application online, like they have for spousal visa from outside the UK. I have been reading this board and looks like a few have already starting getting they approval back from the last week of April and first week of May. I sure will keep you posted as to my out come. If you need to get in touch or have any advice please look for me on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/tangiegaynorilr/.
Cheers.

Hi Entrepreneur, congratulations on your ILR via the accelerated route.

Would you please be so kind to help us by saying what documents you submitted for this.

Did you create 10 jobs or was it the 5m GBP revenue ?

If 10 jobs then what all documents did you show ?

you help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I last posted.

Just to let you know my wife received her ILR yesterday. We submitted via a lawyer as our case was complicated.

I work overseas and my wife resides in the UK. So there was a bit of nervousness on our part. Nevertheless we managed to get the BRP.

I will try to post the exact timeline dates but just so you have a rough idea we submitted our application on 20th April 2014. So roughly four months and two weeks to get our reply.

Also as I said, due to our case being somewhat complicated we received a clarification letter from the HO asking about my employment in a bit more detail. I replied to their questions and provided additional evidence.

Nevertheless all is well that ends well. Hopefully now apply for her British Passport in Feb 2015.

I wish all those waiting all the best. It can certainly be nerve racking. Have patience and hang in there.

Take care.

Salams all. I've been a silent reader over last 3 months. My wife's timeline :

Application type: SET (M) - 2 years Spouse Visa
No of Dependents: 0 (we have a 1 year old baby - already a British Citizen from my side).
Date of application:29.04.14 - Self service - Postal (no lawyer or checking service)
Date of fees taken: 01.05.14
Date of acknowledgement: 07.05.14 (dated 02.05.14)
Bio letter: 22.05.14
Bio done: 24.05.14
Approval letter with all docs back: 11.09.14 (dated 10.11.14) via royal mail special delivery (SAE included with the application).
BRP: To follow in 7 working days.

It came on the last day of my holiday (we were suppose to be coming back from Turkey today, had it arrived 3 weeks earlier). Roll on Tangier next month ;)

I'm already keeping my eye on the Nutralisation section of this forum for next year as we endeavour to apply for nationality on the 1st of April 2015 enshallah :)

You have to do your biometric again. Every time u apply for any sort of visa except naturalisation application , you have to give ur biometric. I did my biometric four times in this country.

Add into that the Life in the UK test plus the biometric charges as well its all just a big income producer. Anyway thanks for letting me know Ill make sure I get it done as soon as it comes back. Just an update. BRP rec'd today. Mrs heard the knock on the door and by the time she came down, the courier had already left but just put the package through the door. No one asked wife to sign anything!! I've already emailed the HO highlighting the sloppy couriers they are using! We've got ours but this is just to inform the people who are waiting. So much for "tight security and id theft"! Imagine someone else enjoying a free BRP while you have no more nails left on your fingers while waiting for yours to come through?

Hi Kan,
Thx's for the update. Congrats. Yes if your child was born in the UK and you hold ILR you can apply for nationalization using MN1 I believe. Just make double check to see if I got the form right. Will let you know when I receive mine. Yesterday completed four months to the date I mailed off my application. Crossing my fingers it will be here next week. Cheers.

Hi Guyz..

This is Mahvish. I have been going crazy waiting for some news everyday. Just stumbled upon this website and after going through every post from the past 6 months, I realized that I am not the only one who is frustated by this wait.

Just saw that the early may applications are being processed now

Well my timeline is as follows

Application submitted by settlement checking service - 19/06/2014
Biometrics Letter received - 26/06/2014
Biometrics done 07/07/2014
Status - Waiting (Duh!)

I was really hoping to spent Eid with my parents in Dubai but i don't think I will get the ilr before 3rd of October (eid day)

Well hoping for a miracle to happen

and thanks all for posting such reglular updates!
