I have applied for my application in Jun2014 as well thru settlement checking service and yet eagerly waiting for the Biometric Permit Card.
Would like to know if i could travel and if someone could bring my permit card to me later on..

I don't think you can travel now. Is ur previous visa still valid?

My visa is not valid, but what if I wish to travel to the country I hold the passport of?

You can go to your country , no problem. But don't forget u will need to have a valid visa to enter into the UK again. Without a valid uk visa u wont be able to come back.So you have wait for your BRP card.

Since I have applied for ILR I have been viewing this forum as silent reader.
Almost time is there when my application is going to be decide.

My timeline is :

SET (O) from Tier 1 (General) 5 yrs rule

Application Posted (Royal mail Special Delivery) - 05/06/2014
Biometrics Letter received - 21/06/2014 Dated: 19/06/2014
Biometrics done 28/06/2014
Status - Waiting

Hopefully by the END of Sept or first two weeks of Oct, I will receive reply from Home Office as they have just started to process May Applications.

I have recieved my ILR after a long and painful wait and I just wanted to let you all know about my timeline

Application type- Set(M)
Application sent by post - 21/05/2014
Application received - 22/05/2014
Biometrics Letter received and biometrics done- approximately 2 and half weeks later
Documents received - 12/09/2014
BRP card received - 15/09/2014

I have submitted my application a week before you did. Still havent heard anything . Hopefully, should hear something next week.

I made my application on 8th of May and still nothing. I really do not understand their work schedule

I have my flight booked on 11th October, I hope I will get by then

We have been waiting since 15/03/14. My husband submitted his application on the 15th of March and it has been exact 6 months and no sign of BRP or return of documents. My husband had an interview at Liverpool a few weeks back but still nothing! Any more March applicants in the same boat as us? We have had to cancel our holiday plans and put on hold other things we planned as a family. Really unfair!!!

Yes, applied on 14th March, Set-O!! Sent 2 request letters for expediting. Also got local MP to write a separate request letter. But no results!

Current visa expiry: 23-05-14
Application method: Postal delivery
Date of application: 12-05-14
Date of application received at HO: 14-05-14
Date of payment debited: 15-05-14
Date of acknowledgement sent: 15-05-14
Acknowledgement letter received: 22-05-14
Date of bio-metrics letter sent: 06-06-14
Date bio-metrics completed: 07-06-14
Date of decision:15-09-14
Date of originals received:
Date of BRP card:17-09-14.

Looks like SET (M) May applications are getting news this week. I haven't read any SET (0) May applications receiving news

Then where is my letters then I made my application 8th of May SET(M) and still no news

Got my ILR Card on 12 Sep 2014 .

It will come, just stay positive. Give home office a call. Here is the # 03001232241 option 2. You will have to stay on the line for 5-20 minutes before anyone answers your call. Good luck.

I called HO today as suggested by Tangie and they mentioned processing May applications. I was also informed that my application is still not processed and no decision has been made yet

I applied on 8th of May.

Any set "O" applicants received ILR who has applied in mid of May and biometric done mid of June.

Pls reply whoever is getting reply from homeoffice...foe set O
