Hi All, been a silent reader for last 5 months anxiously awaiting for this day and the birth of our second child....which baby came first!

My Timeline for Set (M)

Sent recorded delivery application to HO: 07/06/14
HO received Application 08/06/14
Payment taken 09/06/14
Ack Letter Dated 09/06/14
Biometrics letter Recieved: 23/06/14
Biometrics completed: 23/06/14
Approval Letter Dated: 29/10/14
Approval letter and Documents received 30/10/14
BRP: still to arrive

Time taken. 4 months 3 weeks. I was a very simple case and mine still took ages. It really depends on your Case worker. Still it is an excrutiating amount of time to be waiting the news of your Immigration Status. Good luck to everyone still waiting! :P

Hello All,

Below is my SET M application details

Application Sent by Post (Special Delivery ) : 13/10/2014
Application recieved at Home Office : 14/10/2014
Money Taken : 16/10/2014
Acknowledgement Recieved : 20/10/2014

I am waiting for Biometric Inivite Letter. Its been 17 days since my application. Is this normal? Does a delayed invite imply delayed processing of application? I have noticed in forums that most people received biometric invites in 10-15 days time since application was sent.

I wanted to travel abroad for my brother's wedding which is on 26th of April 2015. Really worried if ILR will come through before that :(

Please advise.

Thanks in Advance

Hi guys. Have been a silent reader for a few weeks. I'll get straight to the point. I applied for ILR On 8th July 2014 and recieved a letter today from the caseworker.

Further documentry evidence to show that you have been cohabiting with your partner from march 2013 to may 2014 for yourself and from june 2012 to october 2014 for your partner, or addressed jointly to both.

Can someone please PM and i'll give them my number. Really need some help. I need to respond by monday 10th november.

My wife applied via the settlement checking service on the same day as you (13 October 2014). She received the biometric enrollment letter on 01 November 2014. We managed to get her biometrics enrolled on the same day though you have 15 working days to get it done. If you haven't received the biometric letter yet, you will probably receive it very soon.

Hi,
Anyone received the confirmation for SET(O) applications made in May or June? Have not seens any updates on SET(O) applications for a long time. If anyone can update us on their timelines that would be really helpful. Atleast that gives us hope of some light on the other side of the tunnel ... be it an opposite train coming our way!! :)
Thanks.
