Funny enough they get away with it. On the other hand, there's geniune people like us that have to suffer the consequences. Ours was a straightforward case. Absolutely appalling!
Hi I hope you will hear soon
But I read in some posts they contacted their MP to help them by complaining , I think it s worth they must reply within 6 months

Hi all,
I am writing here to enquire about my ILR application, due this year. I am on currently on Tier 1 (General) visa and also completing my 10 year residence in UK by mid August this year.
-My wife is in UK for the last ~ 1 year (as my Dependent under Tier 1 General, expiring on 15-Dec-2015), So I want to know if I go for ILR (under 10 year long route) during end of July-2015 this year, can she also submit her passport together with my application, for her Dependent visa (under my ILR application), even though her current visa as mentioned above expiring on 15-Dec2015.
I want to submit her passport as well during Jul this year along my application, so we both gets passport back together. Is it possible or does she need to wait until my ILR decision comes back?
- If she can go with above option (what Visa category/Form she will be applying for), what income threshold & savings I need to show?

Many Thanks!
Ali

Hi Mouna,

Congratulation for ILR.

your help will be much appreciated.

I did sent the recorded delivery royal mail return envelop with my application. My envelop was the special delivery bag from royal mail with tracking number. I have been advised to put my return address and stamps (At post office I have been asked, what is coming back) on that envelop. was it same for you ?

Thanks

Senior members
I called HO today and lady on the phone told my application is pending for decision. When I asked her if my application is with case worker she told me she is not able to tell me this. Most of time we hear application under process, with case worker or in the case worker unit. Awaiting to be considered. But the term she used PENDING FOR DECISIONS. what dose it means from PENDING FOR DECISION. Please any one know please please reply.
Thanks in advance

Hey Chudary,
I'm not an expert but I believe that means that your application is waiting for a decision maker who is normally a case worker make a decision. So its pending. Sometimes this could be days or weeks

acknowledgement received on 14th of Dec 2014 ,
Biometric Leter on 27th of Dec 2014 ,

Here's my timeline:

SET(O) Application - 5 year Ancestry Visa

Mailed documents: 08/01/15
H.O received: 09/01/15
Fee taken: 12/01/15
Ack. Letter: (dated) 09/01/15
Bio letter dated: 15/01/15
Received letter: 17/01/15
Bio done: 17/01/15
Documents received: 24/02/15 (with no letter in package, just my documents - STRESSFUL)
BRP received: 25/02/15

I rang the Home Office about the lack of acknowledgement letter in my document package and they apologised and it must've been an oversight on their behalf. Not the best feeling to already be stressed out about the whole process and then get everything back with no information or anything.
Ah well, all sorted now at least.

dear reader this my time under SET O as a PBS dependants

postal application by 10/11/2014
fee deduct 12/11/2014
acknowledge latter received 15/11/2014
BRP latter received 29/11/2014
BRP done 01/12/2015
Alhamdulillah Approval later received 27/02/2015
BRP card still waiting

according to my experience there is no time difference between SET M and SET O both types of applications taking 3-4 month for approval

Wish all of you good luck
