I requested for upgrade last week which got rejected with following reply:

"Thank you for your request for a premium upgrade to your application. After looking further at your application, unfortunately it is not eligible for an upgrade as we do not deal with this case type. Therefore your application will continue to be processed in the postal route".
Seniors any advise?
Did HO deduct fee for upgrade?

Just an update. Application has been approved. Just received an email from Immigration Consultant to let me know they have all the documentation and BRP's. Letter to them dated 19/08/2016.

Good luck to everyone else waiting. All our other postal applications have usually been so quick. This was the worst wait ever!

Applied 08/03/2016 Postal Tier 1 G + 4 dependants
Company director, dividends and salary for the 5 years in UK

Hi T1EAccelerated again.

The service standards of ukvi processing time saying "if there is a problem with your application or if it is complex, we will write to explain why it will not be decided within the normal standard. We will write within the normal processing time for the 8 week standard and within 12 weeks for the 6 month standard. The letter will explain what will happen next." Did you receive any letter from ukvi. If not you should ask your lawyer to wright to them or you have to see your MP.

Hi Everyone,

I applied for ILR Set(O) on June 7th via the postal route, and a couple of weeks ago I tried to upgrade to the premium service - but my upgrade request was declined a few days later by the Home Office:

"Thank you for your request for a premium upgrade to your application. Unfortunately your application is not eligible for an upgrade and will therefore continue to be processed in the postal route. If you require any further information then please contact the department currently dealing with your application."

I understand the Home Office only accepts a limited number of upgrade requests each day. Has anyone tried resubmitting a failed premium upgrade request at a later date - and if so did you have any success?

Many thanks
Ben

Thanks for the suggestion, however I applied without the help of any solicitor, will write a letter to caseworker myself and speak to the local MP as well to see if they can do anything to expedite it.

Dear Ben (brownb),

I have applied for the premium upgrade and rejected with the exact same email like yours. I have tried again a week later and have been rejected again. The reason why I have been rejected was not because of the limited number of successful applicants but because my application was in the process of being decided. If you've got a rejection email, it means you have been chosen but not been successful, which means there is no point for you to apply again.
