ILR Question - Help Please...

Post by testfirst » Sun Aug 31, 2014 1:33 pm

Dear Immigration Experts,

I am in the following situation. Please review and let me know whether I am eligible for UK ILR in my current stay.

I have got my first Tier 2 ICT on June 2009 which was valid for 13 months (i.e. till July 2010).
However I have entered the UK on 16-Jan-2010 to commence my work in the UK.

Following are the breakups of holidays since then.

1. First Entry to UK: 16-Jan-2010
2. Holiday (went to India) - 14-Feb-2011 to 01-Mar-2011- 18 days - Paid in the UK
3. Went back to India as the assignment got over on: 08-Oct-2011 and returned to UK on: 17-Mar-2012 for another assignment. This had a break of 168 days in total for which I was paid in the India.
4. Holiday - 01-Jun-2012 to 23-Jun-2012 - 23 days - paid in the UK and is in the UK since 23-Jum-2012

with the above break in residence, will I be eligible to apply on 16-Jan-2015 after completing the 5 years since my first entry to the UK?

Any help on this is really appreciated.

Many Thanks for your kind advice.

Thanks Malik44. Do I need to mention anything specific about the break of 168 days to UKBA?
