Post by bamig1 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 7:33 pm

read about (annoyed) case he was refused ILR because the P60s provided was not real or not in the sytem ,

how offten do the HOME OFFICE check the autencity of the document especailly P60s, if they have to check every application ... there will be more backlogs.

It;s very difficult to say how often they check or whether they check for each and every application. Each Case is Unique, not the same . If the CW thinks your application warrants a check they will do so. Normally if the CW feels the application is straight forward, normally they don't do further checks.

My employers have prepared a statement to be sent to the solicitor which will be submitted to first tier tribunal.

Called HMRC and told them about this.

I was told to - "Send the P60s for all 5 years to us (HMRC) and we will sort it".

Sent the P60s along with a letter explaining my case and requested then to confirm the receipt in writing.

My First tier tribunal hearing is on 20th May 2013. Hopefully HMRC will come back before that.

(I think your question is incorrect :). You are assuming that I did not work. I did work and have P60s and wageslips. You have to rephrase that like - "How did they find that there are no work/tax records for you?")

As a part of standard procedure, UKBA request your employment history from HMRC. In my history they found "No employment traced" for 2007-2010.

My appeal has been allowed and I will be granted ILR if the UKBA do not appeal within next one week.

Hi
Even i am in the same situation.
I came to UK in Aug 2008 on work permit basis.I got my Tier 1 General in Oct 12 2009. What i found is that my employer did not pay tax and NI for this work permit period. My employer gave me P60 and i got Tier 1 on the basis of that. Now i am eligible for ILR in Aug 2013. I was self employed from Nov 2009 to May 2011. I was paying NI and tax. Then i switched to permanent job.So i have P60 for the last 2 years. My Tier 1 general is valid upto Oct 2014.

I have bank statements & salary slips for work permit period.

Should i go for ILR in Aug 2013 or Sep 2014 ?

Can you please tell me are u applying on work permit basis or Tier 1 or combination of both ?

Hi Sajid,

I would advice you to apply only when you get 5 years' income records. This is a system and you have to follow it OR face what many of us are facing.

Refer http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... light=hmrc for employment history.

Apply only when you have 5 years' records on that letter OR you will struggle. If the records are not there, contact HMRC by post, send your post by recorded delivery and preserve the receipts, call them, record/write down time of call and name of the person you spoke to, send them pay slips, P60, bank statements, employer's letter, and whatsoever else to get it sorted.

You know where I am coming from. I have gone through this.

Good luck with your ILR.

Received my passport and ILR approval letter today. BRP to follow in 7-10 days.

I must mention that UKBA acted very fast and I received the ILR within less than 4 weeks from my appeal being allowed.

Hi Annoyed and Everybody,

Annoyed, I can understand you have gone through a mental situation. But all is well if end is well and hope you are just "happy" now.

Well I am a bit scared after reading your case. Here is my case:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 941#861941

Could I request everybody to have a look at it and comment?

Thanks,
N
