Hi Gurus,
After a long time i am back on this board because i am really really grateful to all the experts on this board who had helped me in the past to get my Tier 1 Visa and my Extension for Tier 1 in the past. Now it is time for me to apply for my ILR as i have almost completed my 5yrs in UK now.
I am planning to apply for ILR in May as visa is expiring on 01-June-2015. I have observed that there are many many confusing changes recently in immigration rules and i have some questions to clarify them. I am hoping that as before, the gurus will definitely help me out once again.. Here are my Questions to start with
1. When i applied for Tier 1 back in 2010, UK Naric approved my qualification of Bachelor of computer sciences and back then, you were able to see that right there on the PBS calculator on Home office website. Back then i also provided my IELTS results. When i had my extension in 2012, i didn't provided any English language proof because according to the rules back then, i already did that when i applied for the first time. Now in 2015, for ILR, since there is no PBS calculator available on home office website from where you can check your points for Tier 1 general/ILR and specially for your degree and english language, how can you calculate your points for ILR eligibility and attach a print of PBS calculator with your ILR application now ?
2. Is English language test is required for me when i've already provided the proofs in my first application and in my extension or only life in uk test would be enough ?
For the record, I got my Tier 1 G visa on 01-June-2010 which according to rules that were set after 06-April-2010. Now i know i can not get an extension according to new rules. For this reason i am really really panicking about the fact that what if fail the Life in UK test and what if i need to give another English language test for ILR ? As i dont have enough time left to do all this in 1 month. So Plz Plz help me out here . My apologies in advance if i have asked a redundant question but i just cant help it as i am really confused of what's going on in terms of new rules.
Please Please gurus, looking forward to your help as always.
Thanks alot
M.Z
