Post by Micky2 » Fri Aug 08, 2014 12:31 pm

Hello,

I really need advise for my intending ILRs 10year route applictaion later this year. I came into the UK as a student in October 2004,and got my PSW in 2009/10 which expire in 2011. Afterwards I apply for Tie 1 General for 2yrs which expire in June 2013,I renew in June 2013, and at the moment am on the second phase of the Tie 1 General visa for 3yrs which will expire in July 2016.

However, have decide to apply for ILRs this year using the 10year route, my question are what are the necessary document required of me to submit, and when is the right time to submit my application since I will 10years in october?

I will anticipate your response.

Regards

From28 days before your 10 years complete. If you've got a passport(s) that cover the 10 year period, not much more is needed. B1 English and LIUK required.

Thanks for your prompt response it well appreciated, however just for clarification purpose base on your response,am not too sure what you mean by B1 English? though have got the Life in UK test. And again with the 28days you've mention, do you mean that i can apply before the actual day i make up 10years here? And again when you said not much is need, I will appreciated if you could be specific as to t what exactly will be required of me, apart from the B1 and LIUK you mention earlier.

I just want to prepared myself ahead of time before the day draw closer.

I will anticipate your prompt response.

Hello Amuson,

Going through the SET(LR) Form on Page 14, there is a question that goes thus:

The country where you were born.
Any country whose nationality you hold.
Any country where you have lived for more than five years.
You should tell us about any family, friends or other connections with that country.
Country /// Social cultural or family ties.

I will like to be advise on how to answer this particular question on the Form.

As usual your anticipated response will be appreciated.

I've just seen your question.

Regarding the questions I think it simply means any country for which you hold a passport if you have dual citizenship at present, if not it's the country of your birth. Any country you've lived for more than 5 years will include the UK. Concerning the ties just keep it simple. If you've got your parents or siblings in your home country just mention. I don't think it's very material in deciding the case.

Hope it helps

Hello Amuson,

Please will a traffic offence be count as a criminal offence? And if the answer is yes, what impact does it have in determining the success of one ILRs application?

I will anticipate your response soon.

Best Regards

Hello Amuson,

Please will traffic offence be count as a criminal offence? As I have a excess speed fine notification, and if the answer is yes, what impact does it have in determining the outcome of one ILRs application? Also will it be appropriate to notify them when filling my application form.

I will anticipate your response soon.

Best Regards
