No. There is no further change at this present moment.ASHA607 wrote:Hi all,
Just found the following in SET (O) guidence notes:
The Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK requirement is changing in November 2015. From that
date you will only be able to use an English language qualification at B1 level or above if it is on the
list of acceptable Home Office qualifications. This can be found at:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-
on-applying-for-uk-visa-approved-english-language-tests.From November other English language qualifications will no longer be ccepted for this purpose
Does it means that:
Q1. Anyone who is applying after November 2015 for ILR and paased the life in the UK test before November 2015 will have to prepare for another Life in the UK test?
Q2. Anyone who has an english degree taught in English and also deemed by UK NARIC have to prepare for B1 or avobe if applying for ILR after November 2015.
Could you please clarify these. Its so confusing. Many thanks
The fact that this thread is over a year old, for what purpose do you need to prove and to who, that the requirement has changed.sagan wrote:Hi guys
Does anyone have a link to the Pre April 2016 Set (o) form? The English requirement has changed significantly and I need to show that it was different on the last instance.
Thanks
Be aware some rule changes are sometimes applied retrospectively.sagan wrote:I posted my application Jan 2016 and have upgraded to premium service now. The new form has different requirements aand I want to make doubly sure I do not have to obide by the new requirements (which I don't have) and my appointment is tomorrow.
