long residence: 28 days advantage and same day apps?

Post by libby » Fri Apr 17, 2015 8:03 am

Hi guys. Quite pleased with the new same day service introduced to long residence applications even though the price is outrageous! . I would have spent 10 years legally in the UK in august but if I use the 28 day advantage, I could apply in july. However, I will like to apply using the same day service and wanted to know if this is possible or do I have to wait till August?

The 28 days rule is applicable to both postal and in person applications.

I asked a similar question, including whether the 28 days prior could potentially be counted as an 'absence'
Seems not!
