NARIC not able to process ELA

Post by ilrrequired » Thu Dec 18, 2014 12:27 am

Hi,

NARIC have sent the following message:

Unfortunately we are not in a position to proceed with your application based on this qualification for the following reason:

Your qualification has been awarded in a country (USA) that is exempt from the English language requirements set out by the Home Office. Qualifications from the majority of English speaking countries do not require an English Language Assessment. It is recommended that you submit a copy of your qualification directly to the Home Office to support your visa application.

What to do? How can I for peace of mind still get the ELA?

Regards

If you have a degree from a majority speaking English country you do not need to do anything but submit the degree for proof of English.

See here.
You must assume the qualification was taught in English if it was taken in one of the following countries:
...
. United States of America.
Is your degree not in the Points Based Calculator? That's free and will be accepted.
