Need help ..ILR under Tier 1 general documents final checks

Post by raomvj » Tue Oct 28, 2014 4:02 pm

Category Tier 1 (General) visa
Entry date to the UK: 18-Nov-2009
Absences from the UK : 29 days in the last 5 years
My appointment is on 30 Oct in Glasgow PEO.
Dependent: 1
Documents providing:
1. New and old passports, BRP cards of main applicant and dependent
2. 12 months payslips
3. 12 months bank statements
4. 4 P60s (I don’t have P60 for the period Nov 2009 to April 2010)
5. Letter from employer confirming my employment with company and gross salary
6. Degree certificate
7. Letter from University confirming that my degree was taught in English
8. Life in the UK for both
9. Trinity's GESE grade 5 English speaking and Listening Entry 3 pass certificate for dependent
10. Cohabitation documents covering 2 years
11. Payment sheet
12. Appointment confirmation print
13. Marriage certificate

Can someone please answer my questions?
1. Do we need to provide 5 years P60s?
2. Is the letter from University to confirm that degree was taught in English enough to prove English language?
3. My employment confirmation letter also confirms that I have taken XX leaves in the last 5 years. HR did not have any information on when I left the UK so they did not mention anything related to my absences from the UK. Can it be used as evidence for my UK absences or do I need a separate letter or any other documents for my 29 days absence?

Can I also request seniors to check my document list and let me know if anything is missing? Thanks a million for your help. Nervousness already started.

Thanks a lot

1) As per my knowledge 5 years P60s was not mandatory. But if you have some kind of experience letter from employer for all 5 years tenure it will be good.

2) If your university was shown in the points based calculator, then it should be sufficient.

3) I believe employer letter was sufficient, But most of them are mentioning from which date which date you are on holiday like that. So get more inputs from gurus.

Suresh

Hello Rao
5 years p60 is a proof you were economically active. you need to show only 12 months salary slips and proofs.
dont have to show degree since used in last extension.
My case was similar to yours. got ILR peo croydon 27 oct 2014. good luck.

HI Rao,
Could you please provide some information on what documents you provided for cohabitation. I just wanted to understand, how many types of documents you provided and how many docs you provided. I am giving an example

1) Joint Bank Statements [Oct 2012 to Oct 2014] [Total 5 items]
2) Utility Bills [Oct 2012 to Oct 2014][Total 2 items]
3) Phone Bills [Jun 2012 to Oct 2014][Total 2 items]
4) NHS Letters [Oct 2012 to Oct 2014][Total 2 items]
5) UKBA letters [Oct 2012 to Oct 2014][Total 2 items]

Please help me to provide the above details.

Regards,
Suresh

Hi Suresh,

I did not worry much about numberof docs as my last extension was in July 2013. Still I have provided documents for the last 2 years.

Section 11A from SET (O) form:
"please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave"

I have basically provided 3 sets of documents: 1 for main applicant + dependent, 1 for dependent alone and 1 for main applicant separately. I have included whatever I have in the last 4 years.

If you still need more information PM me we can talk in phone. Good luck.

Thanks
Raomvj
