Prood of Cohabilation

Hello Friends,

I need a address proof letter from GP for cohabilation . I am eligible to apply ILR after April 15 2015.
Please let me know how soon i can apply this letter.

You can apply anytime. Check with your GP how soon they can do this for you.

Sometime it takes time.

Your GP should know the format of what you need if you specifically ask for a letter stating how long you have been registered with them. There might be a charge for this.

What else do you have for cohabitation proof??

I have below documents:

1) one utility bill on spouse and my name
2) bank statements on my name
3) bank statements on my wife name

You need more than that.

What about tenancy agreement, council tax bill, another utility bill, mobile phone bills, hospital letters, HMRC letters, etc

I dont have tenancy agreement ,another utility bill or phone bills.

Why i need these many bills?

You need bills from 6 different places spread over and covering the last two years for cohabitation, either in joint names or to the same address individually.

You have not given any idea under which visa your are applying for ILR or whether you are a main applicant or dependent and what your current visa status is.

Hi,

I am Tier1 General Main Applicant ,Living in NI and i am the home owner . Here dont have council tax or water bill.

I have only one utility bill i.e from electricity board with join names from last 2 years
Bank statement from last 2years
Spouse Bank statement from last 2 years.

I will request my GP to provide letter .

Also do i need 6 different sources of proofs for both Main and Dependant applicant?

The best guidance is to look at form FLR(M), page 59 under the Relationship heading, gives good information for cohabitation documents.

Thanks, as per guidance if 2 of the documents have in joint names .as per my understanding only additional documents are required from any of the other sources ?
now i have one utility bill with joint names, i will ask GP to provide a letter with joint names.

If i provide 4 additional documents 2 on my name and 2 on my wife name is sufficient?
