Salary sufficient for ILR

Post by Manoj_Lakhani » Wed Jun 11, 2014 5:47 am

Hi Manci,

I am in Tier2ict visa entered UK before Apr2010. In my Cos it is mentioned that I am an operations analyst and paid 36750 per annum. My soc code for this is 2135. Please let me know whether my salary is sufficient for ILR which is due sep2014? I get confused as in some post it mentioned salary should be more than 42600 per annum. But in soc code of practise it says around 27000gbp. The figures are approximate.

Thanks manoj

when applying for ILR your sponsor must confirm that you are paid at or above the appropriate rate for the job. For a SOC code 2135 job the appropriate rate is £31,200 for a 39 hour week and your are paid more, so provided your working hours are not more than about 45.5 hours per week your salary of £36,750 will be sufficient.
