Thank you for all your kind replies..
If i knew the processing times are this slow then i would have gone for same day service. But i wasnt sure if the documents are not completed or application not completed then the fee would have go waste.. so i opted for postal.
it was spouse visa basis

Hi, I submitted my set m application on 03/03/2014 and did my biometric in similar time, he but since then I have not heard any further. Every time I call I get the same repeated message of "it's in processing", no further explanation is given on what exactly that means or if my case is with any specific caseworker. Any advice anybody.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but here is what happened with me.

Booked a Premium Centre ILR Set M appointment for Saturday 6 Sept at 9:00. Wife is eligible due to applying before the July 9 rule change.

Granted ILR after 2.5 hours, the actual decision making time was probably less than one hour. I paid for fast service and can't complain, ended up getting it.

In terms of the form, we missed out a couple of sections, but the case worker was a nice lady who pointed it out and we filled in there. The rest was fine.

Documents included in a folder, they just took the whole folder and said we'll give you everything back, we'll sift through it ourselves.

1. 8 Utility Bills
2. 10 Phone Bills
3. 12 Monthly Pay Slips. I think 3 would have been more than enough.
4. 2 P60s. Not needed though as payslips provided.
5. Passports and photos.
6. Marriage Certificate.
7. Join bank statements.
8. Individual bank statements.
9. A collection of junk mail from various companies, just to prove address.

My experience of the service was excellent, I'd recommend it if you're impatient and have an easy case as we did.

Hi Babluna,
I called today and they told me there were working on May's application. I think you should call again and asked which month are they working on. Hope you get good news soon.

I went through the settlement checking service. My application reached HO on 27 August 2014.
Called on 13/10 they were processing June's application.
On 28/10 they said they were processing July's application.
On 3/11 still July's application.
4/11 they finally said they have started August's application.
I've got my sister's wedding coming up in December and I'm hoping I will get my IDL within this month!

Peter thanks for informing me that they started on July's application on 20th Oct. seems like they took 2 weeks to process July's application. Hopefully mine will be soon.
