Hi Guys,

I am completely new to this forum but thank goodness it exists. I have just applied for ILR. Posted 20/01/2015 and received in Liverpool 21/01/2015.
For some reason I can't think of anything else but whatever may be going on with that application. Been in the UK 10 years with the last 5 being under 1951 protection.
I am keeping fingers crossed for quick positive reply from the HO. Any kind words to calm think frantic mind of mine would be much appreciated.

But at the same times I'm very much please with the information i've been witnessing so far. The following information will give the knowledge of my history of waiting.

Application sent: 9th of Sept/2014.
Application Received by UKVI: 10th of Sept/2014
Biometric Letter Received: 18th of Sept/2014
Enrolled Biometrics: 18th of Sept/2014
Approval Letter Receive: waiting
BRP Card Receive: Waiting.

Yes I myself has come so far, The opportunity of being here is much more greater than to be waiting on the document i should admit.
They are so many people who still fighting their cases, so many who has just started the process of their first day, weeks, month or year of their qualifying period. So i'm grateful for where i am. One love everyone and be strong and share the love with or without the papers.
Hi ,u still waiting for ILR

Seems pretty quick between sending time and the biometrics letter. I have just received an email today confirming that the HO has my application. Not a big fan of waiting! makes me very nervous. :(

Hey all, I am not new to this board, I've been following this thread for some time now trying to get a clear understanding of the HO processing time and criteria. Now my question is: my LLR expires on April 24th, can I submit my SET (P) application 2months before? The guidelines spetulate to submit a month before as I'm very impetient and from what I've seen, there's at least 3months waiting time, can I beat it by applying 2monrhs before?
Last question to all of you who got your BRP, does it have RUFUGEE SETTLEMENT written on it or it differs?

Thanks

Only thing i know is you have to apply ILR settlement route protection before 30 days exactly your lR expires according to home office guidence.they will not accept your application before that long .it does not work like that.i have humaniterian prorection and applied ut before exact 30 days and i am still waiting for my ILR till now.hope i answer your 1 question well.
Best of luck

Yeah Mahm256 you are better off applying 28 days before expiration date of llr. That's the guidelines. Sending earlier will only delay you application I think. Be patient and just do things right so you don't get frustrated.

Lion2014 wrote:Hi everyone,

I've been checking this post for more then a year now and finally decided to share my timeline.

Application Sent: 25 October 2013- Set (P) Route
Application Received by UKBA: 16 October 2013
Biometric Letter Received: 20 Dec 2013
Enrolled Biometrics: 21 Dec 2013
Approval Letter Received: God knows
BRP Card Received: God knows

The anniversary of my application would be in 8 days only :( since enrolling for Biometrics and after chasing up my application many times directly with UKBA and through my local MP I've been given a time frame by UKBA for end of August and again end of September for a decision but yet to receive a decision.

Sorry guys didn't meant to scare you, but just to put you in picture that some people waiting time is a year or even more. I didn't see anyone yet who have waited same as me.

What should I do? Probably nothing I can do!
Hi again,

Do you remember my post above? I need to inform you I'm still waiting. Almost 16 month of waiting. Now considering to ask the court for judicial review which will be initiated by sending the Home Office pre-action protocol judicial review letter. Any other suggestions please share with me?

For those of you who asked whether i had criminal convection, No I don't.
