Question on my behalf of my friend from Watford
He's eligible for ILR in Jan 2015 through his Tier 1.
During the last 5 years he got traffic offense (code ?? SP50), paid around 200 GBP and 3 penalty points on his licence. he says this his first.
it appears that the reason why this resulted in court fine was that previous communication were sent to incorrect address and it was finally that he received court summons to his correct address. He pleaded guilty by post and explained his circumstance. Court judement was that he should pay the fine.
Will this affect his ILR and he's planning to apply with his wife as well ?
