varying tier 1 to ILR and withdrawn letter received URGENT

hiya,

I vary my tier 1 entrepreneur application to ILR on the basis of 10 years on 31-12-2013 which HO received on 31-12-2013 and my wife vary her current tier 1 entrepreneur dependant application to FLR(M) on the same date. My wife received the confirmation letter dated 02-01-2014 and I received my SET(LR) confirmation letter dated 09-01-2014. On 16-01-2014 I received my biometric letter dated 14-01-2014 and I given my fingerprint on the same day. Today I and my wife both received letter from HO regarding our Tier 1 entrepreneur and Tier 1 dependant application.

"Thank you for your application for leave to remain in the United Kingdom as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and Tier 1 dependant Migrant under the points-based system(PBS).

We note that you no longer wish to proceed with the application and we have therefore recorded your application as withdrawn. please find enclosed the correspondence and documents submitted."


can any one plz advice me when some one vary his/her current application will that withdrawn letter of previous application is normal procedure or some thing is wrong.

it was a normal procedure after withdraw letter they refund my tier 1 application fee and send me the bio metric letter for ILR.

Can I ask if you got your ILR approval yet?

Were you on section 3C when you varied your application?

My only doubt is that if the ILR case worker says that now as you tier 1 application is withdrawn, your section 3C is cancelled and hence when you varied your application to ILR you didn't have a valid visa.

So on that grounds can they reject your ILR also?

Any thoughts on this?

ILR still under process it take around 6 months.

3C continue if ur first application was in-time.

I applied tier 1 entrepreneur extension on 08-09-2013 and vary it to ILR on 31-12-2013.
